We are still accepting volunteer help on week day and weekend afternoons! We need help with cleaning stalls and paddocks, filling hay nets and the donkeys would love some extra love! We have a very full house of donkeys and mules right now. Oh and one very big Hinny! 😊

We are looking to add to our team of volunteers right now. Starting with stall and paddock cleaning in the afternoons or weekends, with the possibility of feeding shifts depending on how stall and paddock cleaning goes.

We are looking for reliable volunteer help in the afternoons of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Morning and afternoon weekend shifts available as well.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. We are so incredibly grateful to every one of you who has donated to our emergency fundraiser for the five newbies. Your generosity has helped us to reach our goal! 🎉 It was a lot to ask and we don’t take it for granted. Things are especially tight for us right now, as we approach the end of the year, and your support means more than we can put into words. Every donation helps us to be able to keep saying yes when these precious long ears need us most. It was so important that this group come to SYA together. It was a big ask but you all made it happen. Thank you for believing in us, and most importantly, for believing in them. We are excited to continue sharing their journey with you all. Our farrier, Matt, and volunteer Mike will be coming out next week to help get the hoof rehab process started.

Albert and Josephine are 20 year old miniature donkeys, but you wouldn’t guess they’re that old looking at them! They are very spry, and have many years left to love and be loved. They are just as sweet as they are cute! Both donkeys are up to date on their vet care and hoof care, and they are ready for a home! These two would love their own family to love them.

This sweet pair are great to be haltered, handled, brushed, and lead well to boot. According to their previous owner they were taken into parades. They are both good with kids, and are even gentle taking treats from little hands.

These two are up to date on their vaccinations, dental exams, and vet care. They are ready to find their own people to love and care for them!
