We are a small, 501c3, non profit, animal shelter. We are Solely funded by donations and fundraisers. We understand the economy has hurt people to the point of having to provide food for your kids or food for animals. We are not immune to the effects of the economy either. The fact is, we are struggling as well. There are several ways to help our organization.
1. Support our fundraisers. We have several coming up in the next few weeks that we need to be successful if we want to keep our doors open. (We have shirts for sale. We have an opportunity at a chance to win "something" for our hunting enthusiasts. We have a pet costume contest coming up, on Oct 30th. We have a Chili cook off Nov 21st. We have pictures with a "soon to be announced", favorite character, the night of the Christmas parade, just to name a few)
2. Donations. We aren't picky and we appreciate anything and everything we get from money, to food, to cleaning supplies etc. Anything we don't have to buy for ourselves is much appreciated.
3. Help us at our fundraisers! Volunteer to foster the many kittens we get calls for.
4. Adoptions are at an all time low. Adopt! Don't shop!
5. We have an Amazon wishlist posted at the top of our page.
6. Our vet bill is astronomical. You can donate directly to them.
We desperately want and need to keep our doors open. We cannot continue to do so without the support of our community and the surrounding communities that we support and take in animals from.
If you've ever wanted to do something to help, why wait? We need you now!

Anyone missing this kitten near Jarvis and Travis St in Marion? Its not feral, so it belonged to someone at some point.

We are putting out a BOLO (Be on the Look Out) for this sweet kitty that is severely missed by her 2 little owners. Missing from Nunn Switch, but she could have possibly hitched a ride to town or anywhere basically in a car. If you see a kitty matching this description, please reach out to us. Any possibilities would be greatly appreciated to return her with her girls!

Luna is still desperately needing a home. She is an apartment dog, that now is strictly enforcing a weight limit on dogs. She is a sweet dog, just needs a new chance in a place she is included. Contact us ASAP if interested!
