Most of these young axolotls are eating small pieces of earthworms. If you want to raise an axolotl from this small size, stop over and we'll feed them. Then, you can pick from the ones who are eating the most enthusiastically.

At this stage, we start offering a variety of foods. Adult frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms, small axolotl pellets, black worms, tubifex worms. Other possibilities are white worms and daphnia. Generally, when they can eat small pellets and small earthworms, they are ready for new homes.

I don't mean to pressure anyone, but a local Fish Store is very interested in these axolotls. I expect them to be gone in a week. That will be all I have for 2025. Message me if you want to grab one of these. They are nearing 3" long.
