The first few weeks of a new protocol often feel great. That early honeymoon period where management is high and problem behaviors stay quiet.
It’s a relief, but it doesn’t mean the dog is ready for more.
Early success doesn’t equal full generalization.
If things are going smoothly, hold steady. Don’t add difficulty on your own. A quick video to your trainer can confirm the foundation is truly stable before you introduce new variables.
