🐾💙 First visits come with a LOT of love around here!

Sweet Oakly came in for a first visit with Dr. Kozak, and Kameron quickly discovered that face was simply impossible to resist. 🥹🐶

Of course, a proper puppy exam requires all the important things—listening to the heart, checking from nose to tail… and apparently lots and lots of cuddles and kisses. 😂❤️

Labor Day Closure Notice 🐾

In recognition of Labor Day, Pet Wellness Center will be closed Monday, September 7th, so our hardworking team can enjoy a well-deserved day with their families and friends. ❤️🤍💙

We are incredibly thankful for the dedication our team shows our patients and clients every day, and we hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and happy Labor Day!

🐶🐱 Please plan ahead for any medications, prescription food, or other supplies your pet may need before the holiday.

We will resume our normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

Happy National Beard Day! 🧔🐾

Humans aren’t the only ones who know how to rock a good beard! Some of our four-legged friends have been sporting fabulous facial hair long before it was trendy. 😂

From the distinguished Schnauzer and scruffy Scottish Terrier to the handsome Wirehaired Dachshund and bearded Brussels Griffon, some pups were simply born for the bearded life.

And of course, every dog beard comes with its own special accessories… 💦 water drips, 🍽️ leftover snacks, 🌿 pieces of grass, and occasionally something we’d rather not identify. 😂

🦷🐾 FLIP THE LIP! 🐾🦷

Dr. Corcoran is getting a good look at this little pup’s teeth! Starting mouth checks early is a great way to get puppies comfortable with having their lips lifted and teeth examined—and it’s a habit worth continuing at home.

Taking a quick peek in your dog’s mouth regularly can help you spot changes before they become bigger problems. Keep an eye out for yellow or brown tartar, red or swollen gums, broken or loose teeth, unusual lumps or sores, bleeding, or a sudden change in breath. You may also notice your pet chewing differently, dropping food, pawing at their mouth, or suddenly not wanting hard treats or toys.

🪥 Dental disease isn’t just about bad breath! Problems below the gumline can cause pain and infection, and pets are often very good at hiding oral discomfort.

So every once in a while… flip the lip and take a look! 👀🦷

🌯🐱 Today’s special: Kitten Burritos! 🐱🌯

When you’re tiny, adorable, and at the vet, sometimes the best medicine includes being wrapped up like a cozy little burrito. 😂❤️

🧡 Peanut Butter was in to have an abscess treated and took full advantage of the post-treatment snuggle wrap. Just look at that sleepy little face!

💙 Skipper also got the deluxe burrito treatment and seems to have some very strong opinions about his level of doneness. 😂

10/10 would order both burritos again. 🌯🐾❤️

Nurse Angie got a little extra love the other day from sweet Rosie, and judging by those smiles, we’re not sure who enjoyed the cuddle session more! 🥰🐶

Meet Minnie & Winnie! These two adorable Golden Retriever sisters came in for their very first veterinary visit at just 9 weeks old. 🩺🐶🐶

We’re not sure how anyone is supposed to get work done when patients this cute show up! 😍 Between the fluffy coats, sweet faces, and those puppy eyes, these girls had everyone smitten.

Meet Ophelia, one of our nurses’ very own pets! She stopped by for a checkup and, as you can probably imagine, she got plenty of attention while she was here. 😍

When your mom works at a veterinary clinic, there’s really no such thing as sneaking in for a quick appointment without all of your coworkers coming over to say hello!

Ophelia was a wonderful patient and definitely added a little extra excitement to our day. 🐍❤️

We love getting to care for pets of all shapes, sizes…and number of legs! 😉

Today is all about celebrating the four-legged family members who fill our lives with tail wags, wet noses, unconditional love…and maybe a little dog hair on everything we own. 😂❤️

We get to see some pretty amazing dogs come through our doors, but today we want to see YOURS!
