🐾 QUICK FUNDRAISER UPDATE! ❤️

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised $392 yesterday, and with the current ViaGive matching promotion, that will become $562! 🎉 We are so grateful to everyone who donated and shared.

We are still approximately $1,600 away from completing the building, so we aren't at the finish line just yet. Please keep donating and sharing if you can. Every dollar brings us one step closer to finishing this for the cats. 🐾🏠❤️

🐾❤️ TODAY, WE'RE NOT ASKING FOR $5. WE'RE ASKING FOR $2. ❤️🐾

We are so incredibly close.

DCS Feline Fixers is just $2,000 away from finishing the building we've been working so hard to complete for the cats in our care.

A building that means more room.
More safety.
More comfort.
And most importantly, the ability to continue helping cats and kittens who have nowhere else to go.

Today, we're asking our community to help us finish it.

We have more than 1,000 members in this group.

If just 1,000 people donated $2 today, we could meet our entire $2,000 goal TODAY.

Not $20.
Not $50.
Just $2.

❤️ AND VIA CREDIT UNION MEMBERS, YOUR DONATION CAN GO EVEN FURTHER!

DCS Feline Fixers participates in ViaGive through Via Credit Union, and right now ViaCU is matching eligible donations made through ViaGive through September 30!

That means your donation has the opportunity to make DOUBLE THE IMPACT for the cats in our care. 🐾

ViaCU members can log into ViaConnect, select Move Money → Donate with ViaGive → DCS Feline Fixers. ViaCU's current promotion matches eligible ViaGive donations up to $90 per member while matching funds remain available.

👉 Learn about ViaGive and donate through Via Credit Union

We understand that not everyone is in a position to donate, and that's okay. But if you have $2 to spare today, please consider giving it to these cats.

Because one person's $2 may not finish a building.

But $2 joined by another $2...and another...and another...

CAN. ❤️

DCS Feline Fixers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. We receive no government funding. Donations from our community allow us to feed, house, provide veterinary care for, medicate, spay and neuter, and ultimately find homes for the cats who depend on us.

🐾 OUR GOAL: $2,000
🐾 TODAY'S ASK: $2
🐾 OUR REASON: THEM.

If you're able to give more, we would be incredibly grateful.

If all you can give is $1, that $1 matters.

Every donation, no matter the size, is combined with another...and another...and another...until together they accomplish something extraordinary.

And if you truly cannot donate today, there is something you can give us that costs absolutely nothing:

Your share could put this in front of the person who helps us take another $2, $20, or $200 off that remaining balance.

Let's see what more than 1,000 people can accomplish together today.

On August 15th we received a call about a litter of 5 kittens that were approx 8-10 days old dumped in a parking lot near Jimmy John’s. They were in a pothole and at that time it was dumping inches of rain every hour. Luckily they were found before they all drowned. Thankfully, there are still a few good people out there and they were saved. These babies had already been struck by flies and I wasn’t sure we could save them. After bathing, capstar for the maggots and a bottle I believe they felt much better. A week or so later we took in a little black Kitten about 4 weeks old that we believe had been thrown or fell from a vehicle. He had an injured back leg, but he was a determined. He has become the little caretaker of the “Kitten Inn”. This is just one of the many things that happen on a daily basis when you are in rescue. There are so many things that happen that nobody knows about but we just continue to handle the situations and keep on moving. Debbie and I have a hard time saying no, but we have had to turn away several lately. We are overwhelmed most of the time, exhausted all the time, but we keep moving forward. We don’t like begging, however we feel like we do it a lot. We also put our own money into this mission as well. We will continue to carry on as long as we possibly can. We appreciate our support system! You always pull us through when we are about to throw our hands up.
To those that think it’s OK to abandon these babies whenever and wherever, SHAME ON YOU!! I’m sure the mama to these babies is already pregnant with her next litter. People please spay and neuter your cats.
Now we have to come up with some names. If you have any ideas, please drop them in the comments. 🐾❤️🐾

🐾❤️ $5 𝑭𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑨𝒀: 𝑨 𝑳𝑨𝑩𝑶𝑹 𝑶𝑭 𝑳𝑶𝑽𝑬 ❤️🐾

As Labor Day weekend begins, many people are looking forward to an extra day of rest—but rescue never truly takes a day off.

There are always hungry bellies to fill, litter boxes to clean, medications to give, appointments to keep, and frightened little ones who need patience, comfort, and love.

And right now, we cannot stop thinking about the 15 kittens we shared the other day.

Fifteen precious little lives.
Fifteen sets of tiny paws.
Fifteen kittens who deserve to grow up knowing the safety and love of families of their own. 🏡

While we work to find the right adopters for them, they still depend on DCS Feline Fixers for food, litter, veterinary care, spay/neuter services, and everything else they need to become healthy and ready for their forever homes.

That is why we are asking for your help this $5 Friday.

A $5 donation may seem small beside such a large need, but when our community comes together, those gifts provide real care—and give kittens like these the chance to begin the lives they deserve.

💙 Will you make a $5 gift today?

➡️ Our donation options will be posted in the first comment from DCS Feline Fixers.

This Labor Day weekend, please help us continue this labor of love. Donate if you can. Share if you cannot. And help us find loving homes for 15 beautiful kittens who are waiting for someone to choose them. 🐾❤️

🐾 Barn Homes Needed for Some Very Deserving Cats 🐾

Not every cat dreams of curling up on a couch. Some are happiest with room to roam, a warm barn to call home, and an important job to do.

We are searching for safe, caring barn homes for several cats who deserve a place where they can thrive. Each cat comes:

✅ Spayed or neutered
✅ Vet checked
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Dewormed
✅ Flea treated

Their needs are simple: dependable shelter from the weather, fresh food and water every day, and someone willing to look out for them. In return, they’ll help keep mice and other pests away—and bring a little extra life and personality to your barn.

Providing a barn home may feel like a small act, but to one of these cats, it means safety, purpose, and a place to finally belong. ❤️

If you have a barn, stable, workshop, or other suitable sheltered property, please consider opening your heart and space to a working cat. Even if you cannot provide a home, sharing this post could help one find the place it has been waiting for.

📩 Please message us if you are interested or would like more information.

🐾💙 $5 FRIDAY: CAN WE FIND 20 CAT LOVERS TODAY? 💙🐾

Braylee is the beautiful face of this week’s $5 Friday! She represents all the cats who rely on our community for food, litter, veterinary care, and a safe path toward adoption.

We have more than 1,000 caring people in our DCS Feline Fixers community. Today, we have one simple challenge:

Can we find 20 people willing to give $5?

If 20 people join us, we will raise $100 for the cats in our care—and no one person has to carry the burden alone.

Your combined gifts help DCS Feline Fixers provide:

🐾 Veterinary care
🐾 Spay and neuter services
🐾 Food and litter
🐾 Medicine and essential supplies
🐾 A safe path toward adoption

One $5 gift may feel small, but it becomes powerful when our community works together.

➡️ Our donation options are posted in the first comment below.

Can you be one of today’s $5 helpers?

If $5 isn’t possible today, we completely understand. Even a $1 gift adds to the total and moves us closer to our goal. When many people participate, small gifts can accomplish something wonderful.

If you donate, comment “I’m in!” or leave a 💙 so we can thank you and keep this post moving. You are also welcome to donate privately without commenting.

Can’t donate today? A comment or share can help this post reach someone who can.

DCS Feline Fixers is a registered nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

One community. One Friday. One shared goal of $100 for the cats. Who will help us get started? 🐾

💜🐾 BONDED PAIR SPOTLIGHT: RINGO & BUDDI 🐾💜

Every once in a while, two cats come along whose story deserves a little extra attention. Ringo and Buddi are those cats.

These sweet black-and-white siblings are bonded, and their connection is something truly special. They depend on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. Where life gets a little wobbly, they have each other to lean on, quite literally sometimes. ❤️ Because their bond is such an important part of their lives, Ringo and Buddi must be adopted together.

Ringo and Buddi both have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which is why you may hear us lovingly call them our “wobbly babies.” CH is a neurological condition that affects balance and coordination, so they may wobble, sway, stumble, or simply move differently than other cats. CH is not contagious, it is not painful, and it does not get progressively worse. With a safe environment and a family who understands their needs, CH cats can live wonderfully happy, playful, love-filled lives.

And these two certainly know how to enjoy life!

💜 Buddi is our sweet and affectionate girl with a loving spirit and plenty of personality.

💙 Ringo is the playful entertainer of the pair, with a huge personality and an even bigger heart.

Together? They are something pretty incredible. They encourage one another, comfort one another, and remind us that being a little different doesn't mean living any less of a life.

We know adopting two special-needs cats is a bigger commitment, and we aren't looking for just any home for Ringo and Buddi. We're looking for their person. Someone patient. Someone willing to learn. Someone who can make a few accommodations when needed and who will look beyond the wobble and see two amazing cats who deserve the same forever home as any other.

In return, you get two best friends who already come with best friends. 🥹❤️

Twice the love.
Twice the personality.
Twice the wobbles.
And one absolutely beautiful bond.

🏡 Could you be the special forever family Ringo & Buddi have been waiting for?
