The bond between a dog and it's handler is a special one.

The way you handle situations can impact the way your dog reacts. If you approach a situation nervously, it can cause your dog to become nervous as well. Conversely, if you approach a situation in a calm and confident manner, your dog is more likely to follow suit.

If your dog isn't approaching situations calmly, there are things dog training can help with to build that trust between you and your dog.

I always tell my clients, the energy you put out into the world is the energy your dog is going to amplify.

Everyone say hi to Riley!🐾

Riley is working super hard to become a therapy dog for hospitals!
She has a backgound being a hunting dog and came to us knowing a few basics.

Her biggest hurdle is being WAY too excited meeting people, but through lots of hard work we've gotten it toned down to where we can sit nicely and greet when appropriate.

It's been wonderful watching Riley grow into a confident and calm dog and I'm so excited to get to accompany her to nursing homes schools and hospitals before she leaves us to become a profesional therapy dog on her own!

I love working with dogs who are trying to learn to help people.

We love our therapy dogs in training!🩷🩷

Recently I got the chance to work with Heritage Woods of Benton Illinois. We did an assisted visit with one of our lovely therapy dogs in training, Mercy!

Mercy is working very hard and wants to work with veterans to help them keep hope and feel better. You may have seen her on our page before as she is our first chaplain dog. She is the first one in Illinois and the second one in the whole United States!

We are super proud of her, and love to see her get closer to her goal every day.
