2017 Kentucky Mountain Horse Gelding | Sorrel | 15.3 Hands

🎥 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢: https://tinyurl.com/stonevid12

Stone is a gorgeous 9 year old Kentucky Mountain Gelding that stands 15.3 hands tall. He has a beautiful conformation and his color is amazing as well. He is a vibrant sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail. He is a stout made horse that is both athletic and talented! He is naturally gaited, an outstanding trail horse, completely traffic safe, has been used around the farm and even taken to the local fun shows!
We purchased Stone from an older gentleman who had owned him since he was 3. The only reason we were given the opportunity to purchase Stone was because the gentleman’s wife had some health issues and he no longer wanted to ride alone without her. Since owning Stone ourselves we have had many big adventures and he has been a pleasure to own and ride. We are excited to offer him to someone who is looking for their forever horse- one that they know they can trust and make many lasting memories with!
Stone has a super smooth, comfortable gait that is all natural on four keg shoes. He is a dream to ride and will even ride in a halter just as well as a bridle. His previous owner actually only ever used a bosal bridle on him everywhere he went.
Stone is phenomenal on the trail! His previous owner had taken him literally all over the country riding him in Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, New Mexico, Idaho, Missouri and Tennessee! Our entire family has ridden him everywhere you can imagine around home in Kentucky, and we also took him with us on a two-week long trip to ride in the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness in Colorado and Wyoming. He was always our little girl’s first choice when it came to her picking who she got to ride! On those 8-10 hour rides, we would catch her laid back on him, without a care in the world while he safely packed her through the trails. These trails were the most treacherous, yet most beautiful riding we have ever rode! The terrain was steep and rocky and very technical at times. We climbed elevations reaching over 12,000 feet. There were places that had miles of downed timber that we had to ride through as well, causing the horses to be slow and cautious. We rode past waterfalls, over narrow wooden bridges, navigated through boulders and had close encounters with antelope, bear and moose. Stone handled it all like a professional! He faced each new challenge like he had done it all along and safely packed us up and down the mountain each trip! He also done great being picket lined the majority of the time! He was the same trusted mount every single day!
Stone has been used for just about everything around the farm. He has pushed and sorted cows, checked fences and moved gates also. He is up for whatever task you present and does his job well. He has been exposed to all sorts of wildlife as well. Besides the antelope, bear and moose that he seen in Colorado and Wyoming, he has seen plenty of deer, turkey and squirrels. He is also used to the barn goats that run in and out of the stall with him along with the cats and dogs.
Stone is clean and quiet in the stall, but he spends most of the time kept in the pasture and he is super easy to catch and gets along well with other horses. He is super friendly to people, animals and other horses.
Stone has been ridden to and through town many times and he knows his way around. He is completely traffic safe and has been ridden along side highways with heavy traffic. Stone is also great with tarps, whips and guns. Stone adapts well to whatever is around him, he is teachable and has a willing attitude.
As you can see in the video, we have also shown him at local fun shows! He is so much fun to show and always does a great job! With his color, good manners and gait, he has packed home many ribbons! Not much ever phases him. Between the lights, music, traffic and commotion he is always the same safe and steady horse!
The opportunity to own a horse like Stone does not come around very often. A horse like him is invaluable when it comes to being safe and trusted. Stone is truly a sweetheart. He loves the attention and is full of character! He stands patiently in the cross ties and for the farrier. He loads and hauls wonderfully and loves grooming and a bath! There are a countless amount of great qualities that this horse has! We would love for you to schedule a visit to see him for yourself! Be sure to watch our full YouTube video to see all of this and more. We can arrange shipping anywhere in the US. Feel free to call or text with any questions!

2016 GAITED Mule Gelding | Black | 15.2 Hands

🎥 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢: https://tinyurl.com/leroyvideo

Leroy is an adorable 10 year old gaited mule that stands 15.3 hands tall with a long list of experience and skills that make him truly a remarkable mule! He is an absolute sweetheart and does not have any of the negative “muley” traits that can sometimes come along with a mule. He has a kind eye, is super gentle and patient and loves attention. He is laid back and calm both on the ground and in the saddle. Leroy has proven himself to be reliable, trustworthy, dependable and loyal. He’s steady and strong on the toughest trails, calm and collected when pushing a cow and a ball of fun at the horse shows.
Leroy is completely natural in his gait and super fun to ride. He is easy to make gait and can ride at a slower gait and also pick up and rack a little faster! His gait is smooth and comfortable to ride all day long.
We’ve ridden Leroy many, many miles on the trail. Our entire family has rode and trusted Leroy to navigate through some very rough and challenging terrain. Whether its steep hills, treacherous rocks or slippery slopes- Leroy is the same surefooted mount that you can always depend on to keep you safe. He will go wherever you point him. Logs, rocks, ditches, creeks and deeper waters are all part of what he has vast experience in. One of his many amazing qualities is his ability to navigate the trail with ease and make it an enjoyable experience for his rider.
Around the farm, Leroy is most helpful. From helping push and sort cows to mending the fence and checking pastures- he is pretty handy to have around. He is up for whatever task you hand him and does it with skill and confidence. He has an easy going, get-along attitude that adds to the amazing mule he already is.
We have even shown Leroy at local fun shows! He is so much fun to show and always does a great job! He is a head turner and stands out among both horses and other mules. Not much ever phases him. Between the lights, music, traffic and commotion he is always the same safe and steady guy! He is also completely traffic safe and has been ridden to and through town many times!
If you are new to mules, he is definitely the kind that you would want to get started with! He has the biggest, sweetest personality and is a joy to be around and ride. Leroy is also great with tarps, whips and guns as you can see in the video. Leroy gets along perfectly with other mules and horses where he is mostly kept in the pasture and is super easy to catch and loves to see you coming!
Leroy really is a jewel. He is a super special guy and we are proud to offer him. Leroy stands for the farrier, he loads and hauls wonderfully and loves grooming and a bath! There are a countless amount of great qualities that this mule has! We would love for you to schedule a visit to see him for yourself! Be sure to watch our full YouTube video to see all of this and more. We can arrange shipping anywhere in the US. Feel free to call or text with any questions!
