Sometimes healing shows up in the smallest ways.

After my son died last year I took a bit of a break from breeding/showing and many times wanted to just quit all together. It’s not easy to give your heart to something when it’s broken, but this little girl has brought back a spark I didn’t think I’d find again and has reminded me that it’s okay for grief and hope to exist together. I’ll be keeping this girl and for the first time in a long time, I’m looking forward to stepping back into the show ring.
