Non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides therapeutic riding and equine related therapies to individuals with special needs as well as at risk youth. We are one of only 5 Premier Accredited PATH International facilities in all of South Carolina, and the only one in the Upstate. Based out of Eden Farms horse barn in Marietta, SC since 2001, we see miracles happen on horseback everyday!

We loved having Project SEARCH interns come out for another year of therapeutic riding and learning Social & Emotional Learning skills.

This school to work transition program helps young adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities gain job skills for competitive, integrated employment. Participants are typically between 18 and 21 years old. Through a collaboration with Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital, the School District of Pickens County, the SC Vocational Rehabilitation Department, the program focuses on communication, teamwork, and transferable job skills.

Everyone enjoyed connecting with our therapy horses and showed great improvement from their first day to their final day at the barn!

We are less than a month away from our 14th Annual Wines & Equines Happy Hooves Fundraiser! 🍷 & 🐎 Please join us on September 26th at 5pm for an evening filled with delicious food and drinks, live music, exciting auctions, inspiring demonstrations, and plenty of fun along the way.

Best of all, every moment helps support the life-changing work of Happy Hooves, connecting horses to children and adults facing physical, mental and emotional challenges.

What a great way to wrap up the summer! We loved having a week of summer camp just for children of veterans and first responders. 🇺🇸

Thanks to our partnership with Upstate Warrior Solution, the campers enjoyed a week filled with horseback riding, learning how to saddle and care for horses, a horse shoeing demonstration, making horse themed arts & crafts, and more!

It was also a week filled with making new friends and connecting with other Upstate veteran and first responder families. Much to everyone’s delight, the week wrapped up with a horse show complete with certificates and show ribbons!

We loved having interns from Upstate Warrior Solution participate in a day long Leadership program. It included horseback riding, horsemanship skills, equine assisted learning activities, as well as a question and answer session from leaders in their field.
By teaming up with horses (and one stubborn donkey!), the interns learned powerful lessons in trust, strategy, grit, and nonverbal communication. Great job team!

“That was very, very, very, very, very, very fun!” said a 2nd grader from the Judson Mill YMCA. Over a two day period, 80 elementary school aged children rode busses from downtown Greenville to Eden Farms for an unforgettable field trip. For most of them, this was their first experience being at a farm, brushing and riding a horse. There were smiles all around as the children soaked in their equestrian filled day.
One of their leaders said they look forward to this every summer and that the children couldn’t get enough of the shaded picnic and playground area too. They swung on swings, dug through the sand box, caught bugs, and galloped around like horses!
We cannot thank our volunteers, donors, and horses for making days like this possible. You are making a difference in the lives of others one stride at a time!
