Thank you, Old West Rope Horse Futurity 🖤

10/17/2026

What a special night for Diamond Dub Quarter Horses and our family. ❤️

Shane’s mare Ginger, (Cilantro x She’s Lucky Baby) had a great night at the Old West Futurity in Amarillo, Texas, finishing 3rd in the Intermediate and 8th in the Open Pre-Futurity Heeling Finals. We are so proud of her and Cade Rice — but that wasn’t the biggest moment of the night.

Tonight, Shane Walters was inducted into the Old West Team Ropers Hall of Fame.

There really are no words for what it meant to our family and friends to see Shane honored for something that was such a big part of his life. He loved the western way of life, good horses, competition, and the friendships that came along with it.

We could not be more proud of you, Shane.

I hope you were looking down from Heaven tonight with that big smile of yours, knowing that your legacy is still very much alive and that you are still being celebrated, remembered, and loved.

We miss you every single day. We love you always.

Shane Walters Strong. Forever. ❤️
