Lancaster County Pet A Publication for Pet and Animal Information in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Our main goal is to provide a rich source of information on pet health, care, training and everything else out there we find valuable for pet owners to know about. We will be the source for everything ranging from upcoming events, to debate topics on animal ownership issues, to where you can walk your dog or ride your horse. We want to explore everything Lancaster County has to offer to its pet community.

Tonight, tonight we celebrate as Dr. Mark Huber works his final shift at PETS. An outstanding ER doctor, Dr. Huber has chosen to dedicate himself full-time to Till We Meet Again, a service that provides compassionate and comprehensive end-of-life care for pets. This transition allows him to help families navigate the emotional journey with compassion, grace and support. We are grateful for his contributions and excited for the important work he will continue to do.

K9 Edik
EOW 2-24-2023

LCSO K9 Unit Regrets to announce the passing of Retired K9 Edik. After a rapid decline in health, and a very difficult discussion, it was decided to end his suffering.
I thank the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, Lancaster City Police Department’s K-9 Unit, who surrounded K9 Edik to say their good byes.
Thank you to Donegal Animal Hospital and Lancaster PETS for your awesome care and making K9 EDIK’s final moments comfortable.
K9 Edik had an amazing career and will always be remembered. Please join us in keeping Corporal Cole his family and the Lancaster County Sheriffs Office in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Rest easy K9 Edik.
