Good afternoon Dude crew. We were given the unique opportunity to be a part of a documentary project and I (Dude) was interviewed regarding our history and experience with jumping spiders. I DID A THING TODAY… 🕷️🖤 I held a tarantula!! 😳

If you told me four years ago I’d willingly hold a BIG spider, I would’ve laughed in your face. I used to have severe arachnophobia… but jumping spiders completely changed that for me. Now I genuinely appreciate all spiders (even the big boys 👀)… I’ve just always kept my handling to my jumpers.

But today at an expo… I went for it. And he was SO gentle. And his little face?! So stinkin’ cute. 🥹

I didn’t bring him home (yet!) because I want to do my homework first—proper care, enclosure, all the things. BUT… it’s only a matter of time now 😅

And what jumper addict can go to an expo and leave empty-handed? 🤣 🖤 Please welcome this adorable dark phase cutie to the Nevajaspoods crew… ✨ Salem ✨
