Caine, a great pyrenees mix, is a happy guy who loves to play but also has a calm, sweet temperament. And Sasha, a black lab mix, also loves to run and play, however she can be a little shy at first compared to Caine. That does not guarantee they will tolerate the same grooming today.

All pets are imported during the the groom process.. Especially seizure-prone pets, SENIOR pets, and rehomed/ rescue pets (with unknown life history).

Medication changes.
Recent seizure activity.
Poor sleep.
Pain.
Diet change.
Stress earlier in the day.
Age-related neurologic and physical shifts.
Lower sensory tolerance.

The same dog can present very differently from one appointment to the next.

Because grooming is live triage.

What looked manageable six months ago may now require:

-shortened handling
-fewer positional changes
-less direct drying methods
-breaks
-or stopping after face, feet, and sanitary care

Sometimes the kindest grooming decision is modification.

Because we were paying attention.
Because we were following your pet’s lead.

That’s why medical-trained grooming consent conversations matter.
