Sneak peek 👀 “Bud” is a 14yo grade sorrel gelding who has done it ALL. Mounted shooting, trail riding, school horse, ranch work, you name it, he’s done it. He is 14.3hh and the walking definition of bombproof 💣 the kid in my video is my 11yo ranch kid and this was his first time on him! Lessons are running as scheduled this evening! We have some openings this Sunday 9/6 but we are CLOSED for Labor Day on 9/7. Enjoy this heat 🫶🏻 winter will be here before you know it! 😎

NOON THURSDAY: An outflow boundary from rain cooler air in thunderstorms to the north has swept through the area. This will prevent the heat from building up too high today. The further southwest you are, the hotter it will be (image). New data indicates very little additional thunderstorm activity through tomorrow night in Chicagoland. I can't rule out a shower forming along the old residual outflow boundary today. The one item I could see is a pop up thunderstorm near the lake breeze tomorrow afternoon. Brand new data is hinting at that, especially north of the city. The heat returns areawide tomorrow barring any unexpected outflow boundaries. The holiday weekend is still looking very nice.

CLF has quite the day! Abby is taking the showteam to the McHenry County Fair open show, while Kathryn judges another open show in Brodhead, WI today, and Brooke is running lessons at the farm all day after taking Cash and his shareboarder to the rodeo to barrel race last night 🖤 When we say we are a versatile program we mean it!
