If your dog is pulling on walks, try this: the moment the leash gets tight, stop moving. The second your dog gives you slack and checks back in with you, mark it with a "yes!" and keep walking. Your movement is the reward. Consistency teaches your dog that a loose leash is what gets them where they want to go! 🐕🐾

This gentle giant came to us as a Newfoundland who hadn’t quite figured out that his size was, well… a lot. 😅 While he was here, we worked on impulse control, calm greetings, and teaching Wally that his size means he gets to be extra thoughtful with his body. 🐻🐾

Now Wally walks into a room like he owns it, but politely! Calm on the leash, settles on command, and greets people without turning into a 150-lb lap dog. So proud of this boy and his family for putting in the work!
