If you want to gain experience with higher energy or drive breeds, acting as a foster is a great way to get hands on experience with support from a breed specific rescue and help support rescue work at the same time!

I finally got my approved evaluator status! One of the best things, that even many competition dogs do not have, are CGC titles that can prove trained neutrality, impulse control, handler control, and is a basic first foundational step before public access tests, therapy dog work and service dog training. All of my programs have built in being able to pass these tests as a goal and natural biproduct of training. While I cannot test dogs I have personally trained, I am now an area evaluator and work with other area trainers to schedule tests for all clients to be able to participate. Happy training! 🐾
