I’m going to throw this out there just incase, because you never know! If we have any followers who are handy and have some free time on their hands, we would love a couple of garden boxes built for the rescue so we could plant a fall garden for the staff and volunteers! Just maybe 5 or 6Lx2Wx2H? We do have quite a bit of lumber laying around that might be able to be used or we will happily pay for supplies!

We have discovered the property has all the right elements for happy plants, and we would like to utilize it!

We have had some amazing adoptions lately, and two in particular I want to highlight are Moonpie and Lt. Dan's adoption! One of our incredible supporters, who used to work with us (and named both of these cats!), has come back to adopt her second FIV+ orange tabby boy - she just couldn't quit thinking about Lieutenant Dan after she adopted Moonpie, and came for a visit... and that's all she wrote - he was going home! And it's obviously where he was meant to be, as you can see! He jumped right in to being a couch potato/lap cat combo and has happily re-befriended Moonpie. These guys are living their best lives, to say the least! And check out the most awesome AI created framer Jenny created from a pic of her and Moonpie! Couldn't love it more! This is what it's all about, and why we do this work.

Tulip is just hanging around waiting for her people to find her 😂

This beautiful girl has raised her babies and now is ready to find her home! She's gorgeous, she's very friendly, playful, and she is fully vetted and ready to go! Come meet this lady and our other adoptable cats! We have a bunch of calicos and torties right now if that is your thing - we got you covered! 🥰

Good thing we have a big cars 😂 Thank you Pet Supplies Plus - Marble Falls, TX for your constant support of our mission! We couldn’t feed this many without your help!

UPDATE: Gardenia has been adopted!!

We are so honored to be featured in Stroll Horseshoe Bay September issue! This article gives a little more insight into what's happening at Living Love, and the positive changes for the cats and the property! We are working hard to improve things every day, we have new floors going into our 'cattery' building tomorrow and we expanded the space for our FELV room yesterday to give those guys more room to roam! Kitten season is still in full swing, and we are going thru wet food to keep all the babies healthy and happy at lightning speed - so if you are wanting to help out, send us some wet food from our Chewy wishlist below! More updates coming soon as we renovate!

PS: sweet Dixie pictured on page 25 has been adopted and doing great in her new home! But the orange and white, Monkey, making the leap onto our new hidey hole boxes is still looking for his people (and he's the sweetest orange boy you ever did meet!)

Wet food for all these felines remains our biggest need and expense. If you are able, consider a subscription every month or two to help us keep these guys hydrated! Or just send a box when you can, it all helps us to keep these babies in their best shape! One of our amazing supporters made us these super cool hidey holes for the cats! She works for a company that had all this scrap wood that was just going to be thrown away and came up with this idea - and the cats LOVE them!! We painted them and set them up and they look great in the newly renovated building! What a great way to use materials that were destined to be trash!

And another great supporter sent us this new cat scratcher (and a few others!) and Clover is OBSESSED. She's claimed it as hers 😂 Clover is a new intake, we took in her and her 5 kittens. Now she has been spayed and most of her kittens have been adopted! She also available to adopt if you are looking for a playful, petite, medium-haired lady! But you are going to need a fun scratching post or she will want to take this one with her 😉

I apologize updates have been so few and far between! We are working hard over here improving things for our cat population! We will do a full unveiling in the near future but for now here are a couple of photos of our outdoor space in the newly renovated adoptable building that our cats that are available for adoption are enjoying! I included some of these adoptable babies as well, we have many beautiful and friendly cats that would love a home of their own! But in the meantime we are working to create a healthy, fun, and stress free environment for them, while they wait!

Today's cool cat spotlight is shining down on Short Rib! He's the sweetest, coolest cat around! An amazing mix of Siamese (those eyes!) and orange tabby make this guy one unique boy! Plus, not to be missed in this magical mix of genetics is his short semi-fluffy tail! It's how he got his name, and we think it's super adorable! This guy is something special, and he's ready to find his people! Come check him out!
