UPDATE: Gardenia has been adopted!!

We wanted to showcase a few of our beautiful ladies up for adoption! These girls are all young (1-2 years old) and fully vetted and ready for loving homes! We are so honored to be featured in Stroll Horseshoe Bay September issue! This article gives a little more insight into what's happening at Living Love, and the positive changes for the cats and the property! We are working hard to improve things every day, we have new floors going into our 'cattery' building tomorrow and we expanded the space for our FELV room yesterday to give those guys more room to roam! Kitten season is still in full swing, and we are going thru wet food to keep all the babies healthy and happy at lightning speed - so if you are wanting to help out, send us some wet food from our Chewy wishlist below! More updates coming soon as we renovate!

PS: sweet Dixie pictured on page 25 has been adopted and doing great in her new home! But the orange and white, Monkey, making the leap onto our new hidey hole boxes is still looking for his people (and he's the sweetest orange boy you ever did meet!)

We have plenty of adoptable cats and kittens, so get in touch if you are looking!

Wet food for all these felines remains our biggest need and expense. If you are able, consider a subscription every month or two to help us keep these guys hydrated! Or just send a box when you can, it all helps us to keep these babies in their best shape! One of our amazing supporters made us these super cool hidey holes for the cats! She works for a company that had all this scrap wood that was just going to be thrown away and came up with this idea - and the cats LOVE them!! We painted them and set them up and they look great in the newly renovated building! What a great way to use materials that were destined to be trash!

And another great supporter sent us this new cat scratcher (and a few others!) and Clover is OBSESSED. She's claimed it as hers 😂 Clover is a new intake, we took in her and her 5 kittens. Now she has been spayed and most of her kittens have been adopted! She also available to adopt if you are looking for a playful, petite, medium-haired lady! But you are going to need a fun scratching post or she will want to take this one with her 😉

I apologize updates have been so few and far between! We are working hard over here improving things for our cat population! We will do a full unveiling in the near future but for now here are a couple of photos of our outdoor space in the newly renovated adoptable building that our cats that are available for adoption are enjoying! I included some of these adoptable babies as well, we have many beautiful and friendly cats that would love a home of their own! But in the meantime we are working to create a healthy, fun, and stress free environment for them, while they wait!

Today's cool cat spotlight is shining down on Short Rib! He's the sweetest, coolest cat around! An amazing mix of Siamese (those eyes!) and orange tabby make this guy one unique boy! Plus, not to be missed in this magical mix of genetics is his short semi-fluffy tail! It's how he got his name, and we think it's super adorable! This guy is something special, and he's ready to find his people! Come check him out!

UPDATE: this sweet boy was adopted!!

Today I wanted to spotlight sweet boy, Hagrid! He's a resident in our 'doggery' building - only 1-2 years old and a big ole' love. He came from a Granite Shoals colony, wasn't super interested in us humans - but he's come full circle now! He lays around for pets, hangs out around us instead of with the more feral crew. We think he's going to make someone a great house cat given the chance! Though he'd prefer to be indoor/outdoor - he can catch a mouse that's for sure, we've seen him!

He's a big boy, and a lynx/lilac point siamese with pretty blue eyes! Let us know if you are interested in bringing this big loaf of bread home! 🥰

We are working hard to improve the living spaces for our feline population! Part of that will mean discarding most of our old, worn out cat trees and cat furniture! We would love to replace them with these! Kuranda cat trees can be fully cleaned/sanitized and used with washable bedding, unlike carpet cat trees. We will need a variety of sizes, and quite a few cat towers to use in each of our 3 buildings! If you want to help us create new cozy spaces for all of our furry friends, please consider donating one of these items from our wishlist! And PLEASE SHARE with all of your cat loving friends! If anyone has a working dryer they are looking to find a home for - or a large capacity washer, we are looking! Our machines run constantly in each building and in one building we are trying to set up two sets to help get thru the daily laundry that keeps piling up! Or if you just love washing and folding laundry while petting cute cats - we could use volunteers! Here is a photo of one of the babies that would be available for petting if you were up to the laundry challenge! 😻

We have plenty of non-laundry volunteer opportunities as well, so don't be shy!
