Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a video with you all. I am working hard to make sure each dog gets some training time during my shift and each dog I am working on something different.
Tonio has been an absolute STAR pupil. So far I am able to put his head halter (gentle leader) on with minimal spinning and craziness and he will walk out relatively calmly for me. He will now sit as I do a final check on everyone before I leave (not so much at the beggining, but that will come).
This video is from Saturday and this is the second time we have worked on impulse control. I have a handful of kibble and if he goes for it my hand closes. If he is persistent I would move my hand behind my back or in a harder to reach area. When he is over enthusiatic about grabbing the kibble it goes away. On the cupboard is a cup with more kibble for me to use during the session watch hat happens when he goes for it and I simply put my hand on it! His behavior was completely HIS choice!

It is also pretty cool to see how the other things others have been working on with him in different ways carry over to the next person comming in. He definatly knows sitting is a good choice!

It has now been 16 days that Greta has been on the run.

I have not posted for abit because I didn't want y'all getting sick of me lol. But I have had so many calls asking about her which makes my heart happy that you all care so much.

There have been no more sightings since last weekend. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers we can still bring her home.😪

I know everyone wants to help us find our little Greta. But please do NOT go in this area and search for her. This will only make her run which could drive her deeper into the woods or get hit by a car. Now if you live in the area please review your cameras and keep your eyes peeled for her. We now by the grace of God have a dog recovery team going in that area to hopefully put cameras and live traps down so they only want to be out there no one else. Some of our Volunteers who know Greta will also be searching. I will keep everyone updated. Please if you see her call it in do not approach i can't stress this enough.
