Welcome to Hobart Recreational Riding Stables Smokey & Lisa!!! Super excited to announce that Smokey, a beautiful quarter horse gelding moved in on Sunday! He is a real lover & follows me around when I’m doing my barn chores.

Resident horses Alex, Fin & Chooch have been observing Smokey from afar, however they get closer every day. It’s been a peaceful integration so far!

We currently have openings for 3 horses!

Located right behind the Hobart market on a quiet private dead end road at the foot of Taylor Mountain! Ride off the property to access miles & miles of King County Maintained Horse Trails.

Unique herd boarding & free choice feeding program where our horses can enjoy the mental & physical benefits of living with other horses in a setting that encourages continuous movement & access to hay almost all of the time promoting gut health & reduced stress.

Full care $625/horse per month no multiple horse discount

Partial care options available!

-Grass hay fed at multiple stations via slow feeding 1in hay nets available almost 24/7

-Owner Supplied grain & supplements fed once daily I. Afternoon / evening (horses are separated during grain time) then let out again

-Fly predators used on the property to greatly reduce flies

-The herd has access to covered areas in the barn, track around the barn as well as the arena, stalls have been converted into 12 x 24 areas with the doors open for easy in & out movement

-Natural footing outdoor arena seasonally available for riding

-Porta Potty Bathroom

-Locked tack Room

-Limited trailer parking available $25/mo

-Private small barn (6 horses total) this is my home and I’m looking to share it with fellow trail riders & owners of well mannered, calm horses that are retired or actively being ridden.

Horses must be trained to ride & be handled easily.

The horses here are so relaxed it’s common to see them all laying down! They love being together!
