August reminder: summer is not over yet, and the heat is still very real for your pets. 🌞

A few things to keep top of mind this month:

1. Walk before 8 am or after 7 pm when pavement cools down
2. Fresh cold water available at all times, inside and out
3. Never leave your pet in a parked car, even for a quick errand
4. Heavy panting, drooling, or lethargy?

Those are your warning signs. Call us. You know your pet better than anyone.

We will start: our number one tip is that any breed that doesn't tolerate heat well, especially brachycephalic breeds (pugs, French Bulldogs, lionhead rabbits, lop rabbits, Persian cats, Himalayan cats, etc.), should be kept indoors during peak heat periods!
