1 in 4 dogs and 1 in 6 cats will develop cancer sometime in their life. Regular vet visits, knowing your pet, and identifying the signs of cancer make a difference. Did you know that dogs and cats handle chemotherapy much better than humans? Machiko (dog) and Kitty (cat) were not candidates for treatment, but Mojo received chemo and did very well. Unfortunately, cancer is sneaky, and it eventually took over. I wouldn't change a thing about my decision for surgery and treatment. Trust your gut and your doctors. Paws4Potter

We've got 9 states represented so far!
The virtual portion of the "Making A Mark On K9 Cancer" dog walk starts on September 26th and runs through October 10th!
We want to paint the whole country pink! Will you help us to fill in the gray areas? One of our "New Decade, New Goals" wishes is to have at least one representative from every state join us this year in helping to spread the word about canine cancer!
Please share this with all of your friends! And, even if your state is already represented, we hope that you will join us for 2 weeks of fun, contests, and camaraderie!
