🐾 A little Sea Spot Walk OBX booking update! 🐾

My calendar is already filling up and I’m currently booking pet care into February 2027! 🤍

If you know you have a trip, wedding, event or getaway coming up, please reach out as far in advance as possible. I’m just one person and once my overnight dates are spoken for, they’re spoken for!

A quick holiday update:

✨ New Year’s — Overnight care BOOKED

I do still have some availability for drop-in visits over the holidays, so if your pets will be staying home and just need some love, potty breaks, meals and company, give me a shout.

And even if your trip feels way too far away to book — it probably isn’t. 😂 I’d much rather get your dates on my calendar early!

🐾 A Little Reminder When Choosing a Pet Sitter 🐾

There seem to be quite a few new pet-sitting services popping up in our area lately, and while it’s great that pet owners have options, I think it’s also a good time for an important reminder:

Please choose your pet sitter carefully.

Loving animals is important. But loving animals and being prepared to take responsibility for someone else’s pets are two very different things.

When you hire a sitter, you’re trusting someone with your pets, access to your home and the responsibility of knowing what to do when something doesn’t go according to plan.

Experience matters. References matter. Reliability matters.

Pet sitting isn’t always cuddles, walks and cute pictures. It’s recognizing when a pet isn’t acting right. It’s handling anxiety, illness, accidents or unexpected situations. It’s being dependable when an owner may be hundreds of miles away and counting on you.

So whether you choose Sea Spot Walk OBX or another local sitter, ask questions. Check references. Have a meet & greet. Ask about their experience and how they handle emergencies.

I’ve spent years building relationships with my clients and their pets, earning their trust and understanding the responsibility that comes with caring for animals who are family. I don’t take that trust lightly. ❤️
