Happy Easter!

As I wrap things up, I just wanted to share something important that I hope helps both my clients who choose to find a new groomer and fellow groomers moving forward.

When reaching out to a new groomer, please be open and honest about your dog’s behavior and grooming history. Every groomer works a little differently, and having accurate information is essential for everyone’s safety. Your pet, the groomer, and the quality of the groom itself are at risk when this information is not known/hidden. Unexpected behaviors can become a liability very quickly in a new environment and not only risks your groomer’s career (one bad bite can cause irreversible damage preventing ability to work), but your dog's safety as well. Not every groomer can/will work with behaviors and that is okay! You may have to travel a bit further than you desire, but ensuring your dog has the best chance at a relationship suiting their needs is important. 😊

Set your pet up for success. Set your groomer up for success. ❤️

To my wonderful APB Clientele, ❤️

I’ve been doing my best to reach out to clients who have been in more recently, but as just one person, I wasn’t able to contact everyone.

After 4 amazing years, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close my business. This journey has meant everything to me, and I truly can’t put into words how grateful I am for every single one of you who trusted me with your pets. You’ve supported me, grown with me, and become so much more than just clients.

Starting April 14th, I will be continuing my grooming career at Wags to Riches in Kankakee.

If you would like to follow me there and haven’t already confirmed a transfer of your pet's account, please send me a text so I can make sure your pet's information is transferred into their system. If I don’t hear from you, your pet would need to be set up as a new client through Wags to Riches rather than just transferring over with me.

If you haven’t been contacted yet, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Your account can absolutely still be transferred.

I completely understand if this change doesn’t work for everyone, and I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had with you and your pups regardless.

For those wishing to transfer, please contact me by 04/01/2026 to ensure a transfer.

Tonight a friend and I were able to prepare and deliver a good amount of food to the Fun Hub Bar in Aroma Park to help with distribution to those who need it.

Access into town seems to be very limited right now, and it appears they are only allowing residents and certain individuals in. The number of people coming just to look at the damage is making it harder for those bringing in resources like food, water, and other supplies to get access. We ask that people please reconsider traveling just to see the damage and instead keep in mind the families and residents who were directly affected by the tornado.

If anyone would like to help, we were advised that food donations and other items can be brought to Georgie’s Closet, where they are helping coordinate and distribute supplies to Aroma Park since getting items directly into town is very difficult at the moment. Their page will have updates on needed items to help support our community. ❤️

We’re very thankful we were able to get into town to deliver the food. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the storm. ❤️

🐾 Pay-What-You-Can Pet Care For Families Affected by the Storm

My heart truly goes out to all of the families who were impacted by the tornado and severe storms yesterday, March 10th. I can’t imagine how overwhelming it must feel to navigate the damage, clean-up, and uncertainty right now. 💔

If your home or neighborhood was affected in the Kankakee / Aroma Park area, I’d like to help where I can. “Bee There” Pet Care was built on the idea of being there for pets and their people and right now feels like one of those moments that really matters.

I’m offering pay-what-you-can drop-in visits and dog walks for pets for families dealing with the aftermath. Situations like this can mean dealing with clean-up, insurance calls, repairs, or even being temporarily displaced, and sometimes pets need a little extra help during times like this. 😢

Visits can include things like:
• potty breaks
• feeding
• short walks
• playtime or snuggles
• checking in on pets while you handle everything else

Because I do have an existing roster of clients, this will be based on availability, but if I have room in my schedule I absolutely want to help however I can.

If you or someone you know in the KANKAKEE / AROMA PARK area could use a hand with their pets right now, please send me a message and we’ll see what we can make work.

🤝 LOCAL PET SITTERS: If you’d like to collaborate on this and help support families in the area, please reach out. I’d be happy to add your name to this post as an additional contact so we can help as many pets and families as possible.

I would especially love to connect with pet sitters who are more local to the LAKE VILLAGE, INDIANA disaster path, since the tornado also went through that area. If you’re nearby and able to help, please reach out and I’ll gladly add you to the list so people closer to you can access your services.

Huge thank you to everyone for coming out to support our Nail Trim Fundraiser at Huckleberry's Snack Shack! We raised $356 thanks to your amazing donations and support! We saw many returning faces and quite a few new faces! These events seem to be quite a hit with our local pet parents so we will continue to plan them! We can't wait to see how this event grows with time!

Another giant thank you to Manda, Sage, and Skye at Get Dog Tired for donating their time to the nail trim fundraiser! We couldn't do it without them!
