Four weeks old… Jovi’s First, Hudson’s Last 🤍🐾

This is one of my favorite ages because the puppies are no longer tiny newborns, but they’re not quite big puppies yet either. Their personalities are beginning to emerge, their confidence is growing, and every day brings something new to discover 🐶✨

At 4 weeks old, puppies are becoming much more interactive with their littermates and environment. They’re learning important social skills through play, exploring with greater purpose, and starting to make sense of the world around them.

It’s amazing to watch these little ones grow more curious and adventurous with each passing day while still seeking the comfort of their mama and siblings 🤍

Knowing this is Jovi’s first litter and Hudson’s final legacy makes every milestone feel just a little more special.
The newborn days may be behind us, but some of the most fun stages are just beginning 🐾✨

Six weeks old… Around the World with Juni 🌍🤍🐾
It’s hard to believe these little travelers are already 6 weeks old! This stage is full of growth, learning, and personality. Every day, they become more confident, more curious, and more engaged with the world around them 🐶✨

One thing many people don’t realize is that around 6 weeks, puppies are in an important learning period where they begin developing problem-solving skills, social awareness, and confidence through play, exploration, and new experiences. What may look like simple puppy fun is actually helping shape how they interact with the world in the future.

Their little personalities are becoming more obvious every day, and I absolutely love watching each one grow into their own unique self 🤍

Juni continues to do such a wonderful job with her babies, and it has been a joy watching this special litter grow.

There’s something so special about watching an older, confident dog help guide a younger puppy through new experiences. ❤️

In this photo, Evie is helping little Daphne (now Jewels) feel safe and calm during a car ride. Instead of facing something unfamiliar alone, Jewels had a trusted companion right beside her — and you can see how much comfort that brought her.

This is one of the many reasons adding a second dog to the family can be such a wonderful experience. A well-balanced older dog often becomes a teacher and role model for a younger puppy. Puppies learn so much by watching and following another dog’s lead — whether it’s learning confidence in the car, settling in new environments, understanding routines, or simply feeling secure.

Dogs truly learn from one another, and having a calm older companion can make the transition into family life so much smoother for a puppy. Watching these relationships form is one of my favorite parts of raising puppies. 🐾

Just another day at the Providence playground 🤍🐾
After exploring and playing, there’s still nothing these babies love more than cuddling up close to mama 🐶✨

Even as puppies grow more independent, these moments of comfort and connection are still so important. Being close to mama helps them feel safe, secure, and regulated while they continue learning about the world around them 🤍

It’s such a sweet reminder that no matter how adventurous they become, mama is still their favorite place to be 🐾🥹
