Took some of our staff and students out for a little playday fun! 🐴

If you’ve never been to a playday, think of it as a fun, laid-back way for riders to get some competition experience. They’ll ride through timed events like barrels, poles, and other patterns, putting the skills they’ve been working on at the barn into action.

It’s a great chance to get out of the arena, ride somewhere new, build confidence, and of course, have a whole lot of fun.

We love getting to watch our riders learn and grow outside of lessons, too. 🤎

Yesterday was National Day of the Cowgirl, but around here, cowgirls deserve more than one day. 😉

National Day of the Cowgirl was created to recognize the women and girls who keep the Western way of life going, from ranching and agriculture to rodeo and equine sports.

But being a cowgirl is about more than what happens in the saddle. It’s learning to work hard, take care of your horse, get back on when things don’t go your way, and keep building your skills one ride at a time.

We’re pretty lucky to watch the next generation of cowgirls learn those lessons every day at Hasbrouck Horses.

So we may be a day late, but we’ll always celebrate our cowgirls. 🤎
