I’m ALWAYS happy to see you.
I’m ALWAYS excited about whatever we’re doing. Walk? YES. Yard time? YES. Snacks? OBVIOUSLY YES. Sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing? ALSO YES.

I’m 2 years old, I have approximately zero concept of how big I am, and I give some seriously awesome hugs. 😂

Personal space? Never heard of her.

I’m goofy, happy, handsome, and honestly… I’m freakin’ awesome.

❤️ LYNN HAS SPENT ENOUGH OF HER LIFE SURVIVING. IT’S TIME FOR HER TO LIVE.

Look at this beautiful girl.

Lynn is a 3–4-year-old Cattle Dog mix, and somehow… she is still waiting.

Before coming to us, Lynn lived a life no dog should have to live. She came from a problem area in Tarrant County and had already endured several litters of puppies.

She knows what it’s like to survive.

But that chapter is over.

Lynn deserves rest now.

She deserves a couch instead of a street.
She deserves a bowl filled at mealtime instead of wondering when she’ll eat again.
She deserves a safe place to sleep every night.
And more than anything, she deserves to finally belong to someone.

And y’all… the way this girl looks at her people. 🥹

Lynn LOVES people. She wants that connection. That person she can look at with those beautiful eyes and know, “That’s mine. That’s my human.”

🐾 Doing well with male dogs, although she definitely has her favorites

We are incredibly grateful Lynn made it to us and that we were able to change the direction of her life.

But rescue was never supposed to be her final destination.

She needs someone to finish her story.

Someone to walk through our doors, look back at her the way she looks at us, and simply say…

🐾 MEET RIP — THE KIND OF DOG EVERY FAMILY HOPES TO FIND. ❤️

Rip is a 2-year-old mixed breed boy, and according to his foster mom, he is pretty much the ultimate family dog.

In her words: “If I could design the ideal dog, it would be Rip.”

And that says a lot.

❤️ Incredibly sweet
🐶 Loves other dogs
🏡 Potty trained
🎓 Knows basic commands
🥰 Affectionate, loving, and easy to have around
🐾 Does well with both small and large dogs

Rip can still flinch a little with sudden or active movements, but he is making progress every day as he learns that he is safe.

One thing to know: tiny puppies are not his thing. 😂 He prefers his canine friends a little more grown-up, but otherwise he does wonderfully with other dogs.

Rip still needs to be neutered, but he is already showing us exactly what kind of dog he is going to be in a forever home:

Loyal. Gentle. Loving. The kind of dog who just fits.

Some stories stop you in your tracks. Johnson’s is one of them.

Johnson was failed more than once and ultimately left in a crate to die.

He was not alone.

Johnson made it out. His friend did not. 💔

We are heartbroken for the dog we could not save, and beyond grateful we reached Johnson in time.

What gets us most is this: after everything he endured, Johnson is still loving. Still gentle. Still trusting. He should have every reason to give up on people.

But he hasn’t.

So we will not give up on him.

Johnson is safe now. He is loved. He is being given the medical care, nourishment, time, and support he needs to heal — and when he is ready, we will find him the forever home he has always deserved.
