I know my videos look cute but reality is safety patience and a sing song voice! I have a full 11 minute clip of Honey reacting me working with patience and consistency using gentle touch until the 7minute mark where everything changed for her. She was calm she was patient and she was willing to trust me. I’ve been witness time and time again to what trust building can be using gentle technique, some restraints “muzzle Free” for safety, and just like that I have a new best friend I get to see on a regular basis. We’re going to have so much fun cuddling in the future. I’m so happy to create a space that allowed honey to express her fear she was heard and now took a leap of faith with me. What trust building with a chihuahua should look like. Sweetest Rescue Honey was sent away by vet office due to them not being able to safely clip nails/ care for honey in general. I got you girl we can take our time here. We’re on Honey time🫶

Apparently fake grooming profiles are out here stealing groomers’ photos and asking people to pay upfront before disappearing into the void 🫠
