High Desert Greens

We are so excited to announce that High Desert Greens has been selected as an awarded vendor for the Ohio School Council Farm to School (local and non-local) Produce and Value-added and Ohio-produced Products for the 2026-27 school year! This gives us the opportunity to provide microgreens to school meal programs!

OSC is a Regional Council of Governments, created and governed by School Districts. OSC membership represents over 300 school districts, joint vocational schools, educational service centers, developmental disability boards, municipalities, universities and other educational organizations in 43 counties, serving over 600,000 students!

Not only will be feeding Ohio’s youth, but we will be able to teach them how to grow their own through our education workshops!

We are overjoyed by this opportunity and want to thank the teams at and Kelly Rocco at OCS!

It’s a awwfy dreich day the day is it no? We’ll garden for you in the rain, but this is a bit much!

Seth likes to say that Ohio is “Scotland on Steroids” and the 4 seasons in one day is the perfect example! It’s just more extreme here!

Other reasons why Ohio is similar to Scotland.

Perennial Underdogs in sport - countless times when teams are robbed of a victory by a bad referring decision or cheating.

Chip on our shoulder about our neighbo(u)rs - Could you imagine a M*chigander with a London accent? Boke!

Very self depreciating but won’t allow others to criticise - We go from complaining about our location to boasting about it.

Love of fried food - Seth is starting to make his fish n chips with Walleye. Plenty of salt and vinegar!
