Training should not only teach obedience, but it should also be fun and create confidence within each dog and family members! The session where we do some agility work is always a family favorite! Each dog leaves with more confidence and trust than they came in with. It’s important to do these kinds of drills within the class as well, because it all comes together to helps your dog turn into the best version of themselves that they can be.

When you go to a shelter, do this before you look at a single dog.
Write down the energy you can actually live with. High, medium or low. Then write what you need the dog to do with you. Walk. Hike. Sit quietly while you work.
Now walk the kennels and ask about energy first, breed second.
You are not adopting a look. You are adopting an energy that has to fit inside your house every single day.
