Hey, I'm Lawson!
The first thing that you need to know about me as I have feline leukemia, but it's not necessarily a death sentence. A kind group of rescuers were trying to help my outdoor colony by TNR, but I tested positive and could not be returned.
I'm a very handsome, vocal, young man, thought to be about 2 years old or so and doing great with people in my foster home. I'll take all the pets that I can get, love to be brushed and even picked up and carried around! I have a leukemia + young, foster sister and we're doing great together after our proper introduction! However, these dogs!! That's a big no-go for me! I mean ABSOLUTELY NOT, no matter how calm or how much they like cats!!
I'm much too friendly with people to have born on the streets. I would do well as an only cat, with other leukemia + cats, or cats who have been properly vaccinated for leukemia (there are different opinions about the vaccination effectiveness, though) as long as they won't want to play all of the time as I'm just relearning that life doesn't have to be stressful and what fun it can be!
A secure catio would make me so happy!
Fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick prevention applied, full blood work sent out including confirmatory FeLv testing, microchipped.
Adoption fee waived to a good home
