It was Taz’s got ya day! Taz gets to go to his new home and enjoy being part of this family! The children were eager to learn cat cares and couldn’t wait to get him home! We are so excited to hear how the transition goes! Keep us updated.

You said it very well and straight forward, dear fellow rescuer!

There’s no way to describe being the founder of a rescue and daily having to make life and death decisions. It doesn’t matter if they are kittens or seniors, it breaks your freaking heart 💔
The vets can say all they want, it wouldn’t be wrong to decide euthanasia. But it IS, (well sure feels wrong) we are rescuers. The world puts animals at our door we are supposed to save. We can’t save them all. But we try.

Even though the WORLD leaves animals outside in harms way, or dumps them, here we are trying to pick up the messy pieces. ❤️‍🩹

We had 3 cats at different vets today and we couldn’t save them all. End of story. But we tried. 🙏

Although it breaks your heart, further breaking it is all the animals that people are trying to “bring you”, “donate” to you that you can’t even take in because you’re already overwhelmed and doing your best 24/7 not caring about your own well being, but caring about someone else’s cat that they couldn’t care for. 💔
