This is a great reminder. Especially after what happened in West Mankato this year. Rodenticide doesn’t stay where you put it and a dying animal that gets taken as prey by another will kill that animal too. It’s a chain that effects far more than the mouse you are trying to eliminate.

📣 Did you know FAF offers reduced price memberships?!

🚨Every pet needs this membership‼️
Nail maintenance program. Once you enroll, you are billed $21.58 monthly for two visits!

🎉That breaks down to $10 plus tax a visit. ‼️75% off our regular rates.

🚨We’ve had a good deal of success working with anxious pets who need extra support and rehabilitation for this service. Although this usually requires veterinary support and more frequent visits that are specifically designed to overcome your pet’s struggles.

➡️This training is billed separately from the nails membership.

Call or text (507) 388-3163 to inquire about this membership or enroll. We must see and evaluate new pets first before we will enroll you in the membership program.

Community support. It takes a village! If anyone knows children in need this is a wonderful free clothing opportunity.

Calling Mankato foster families! (Please Read)

Before our BENCHS clothing fundraiser opens to the public, I’d love to invite teens in foster care, as well as younger foster children who wear adult sizes, to pick out clothing for FREE.

This private shopping opportunity will take place by appointment only at BENCHS, 1250 North River Drive in Mankato.

Our fundraiser will help homeless cats and dogs receive the care they need while they wait for families of their own. We also want to honor children in our community who have experienced uncertainty, transitions, abuse, and the need for a safe place to belong. ❤️

Thanks to our partnership with Plato’s Closet, we have nearly 1,000 name brand clothing items! I’d love for these resilient young people to have the first opportunity to find things they feel comfortable and confident wearing. 👌

I want to offer 30 minute private shopping appointments so each young person can feel like a VIP! They’ll have time to browse, choose their favorites, and enjoy a shopping experience just for them. 🫶🏼

Each child can choose 10 items for FREE, with no cover charge. The child or teen must attend so they can choose their own items. They may come with their foster parent or caregiver, or independently if appropriate.

Please message me on Facebook or text me (Terri Hanson, BENCHS Shelter Manager) at 507-340-7292 to arrange a time this week. I’m going to try and work in as many private appointments as I can. ❤️ If you know a foster family or work with youth in foster care, please pass this invitation along!

For everyone else: The Clothing Sale begins on Friday the 23rd from 11-7 PM. The cover charge is $10 per person, each item is $1. All proceeds benefit the shelter! ❤️ (Cash/check/Venmo). I’ll post the flyer in the comments section!
