Even in the off-season, we post fun content, funny dog moments, updates on dogs that have gone home, and behind-the-scenes life here at God Of War.
When we have an upcoming litter, we keep everyone updated through the entire process — upcoming breedings, heat cycles, confirmed lock-ups, due dates, labor and delivery updates, and then almost daily photos and videos once the little sausages arrive. 🌭🐶
It’s a fun, unique experience, and one of the many ways we help families bond with their puppy from day one.

And yes, we call puppies **sausages**. It’s our own personal term, and you’ll see it used all over our page. =)

**About Us**
At God Of War, our dogs are raised **indoors, in our home, as family first**.
We do ***NOT*** use kennels, runs, or outside facilities. They are crate trained for safety, but they live in our home, sleep in our beds, and are beloved family members. We are currently raising a pack of 7 dogs in our home.
Our dogs live real life with us — with kids, cats, other dogs, and even exotics. They go in and out all day, nap on couches and beds, go on vacations and car rides, and are loved constantly.
They are loved the same way dogs are loved in homes that do not breed. We believe that if dogs are giving you the gift of life and helping create income, then they deserve respect, appreciation, exceptional care, and an incredible life in return.
Our puppies get around-the-clock care in the beginning and then grow up underfoot, right in the middle of daily life. We literally sleep in the room with them for the first 4 weeks, often in the nursery next to mom.
I am a college graduate, and I was a certified veterinary technician before staying home with my skin kids. That experience gives me a real advantage when it comes to caring for our pack and their offspring.
We have spent years developing neonatal-revival skills, and we have successfully revived many puppies born without spontaneous respiration. Every life counts.
We had two litters in 2026, only 1 week apart, with 28 sausages born in total. 8 were born sleeping, and 6 were successfully revived. 26 survived and went on to their families. One litter was 14/14, and the other was 12/14. We are proud of the care and emergency intervention that helped save those 6 lives.
Since 2017, we have lost only **one** sausage past birth age — at 6 weeks old — due to an acute vaccine reaction within 12 hours of receiving a multivalent vaccine. One.
Being a helicopter grandmother is exhausting, but I just can’t cope with being negligent and losing lives. When we tell you we’re diligent with round-the-clock care, I’m not lying. That matters. Every soul you bring into the world matters.
Early socialization is critical, especially in powerful working breeds, and we take that seriously from day one. We show that through frequent updates, daily photos and videos, and weekly photo shoots so families can follow along and bond with their puppy before they ever come home.
We believe raising a great puppy starts with ethics, love, intentional socialization, and an enormous amount of work. We are not here to blow smoke, make flashy promises, or tell people what they want to hear just to make a sale. We are blunt, transparent, and serious about what we do — because these dogs deserve that.

# # **Lifetime Support Means Lifetime Support**
We do **not** hand you your sausage and disappear.
When you get a sausage from us, you get us for the life of that dog. If you need help, call. If it’s 2 a.m. and you need me, I’ll pick up. If you’re unsure about something, ask. Nothing is stupid. Nothing is too small. We want every family to successfully raise their sausage, and we are here every step of the way to help make sure that happens.
That is especially important with **Cane Corsos**.
Let’s be blunt, because this is not the breed to tiptoe around:
A Cane Corso is an **extremely powerful, serious breed**. This is not a game. This is not a fashion statement. This is not the next cool status dog. This is not a little Chihuahua you can shrug off if you don’t feel like training today. This is a life, and it is a breed that demands responsibility.
Your cute little sausage has an incredible bite force. Bite force is measured in PSI. People love to nitpick the exact numbers, but these are rough commonly cited comparisons:
Pit Bull → 230 PSI
Lion → 650 PSI
Cane Corso → 730 PSI
These dogs are incredibly loyal, incredibly intelligent, and capable of becoming some of the best family companions in the world — but only if they are set up correctly from the start, with sound parent temperament, intentional early raising, and proper socialization from day one. After that, the rest is on you.
This breed often struggles more than most with being rehomed. They bond deeply, usually once, and for life. When a Cane Corso is failed by its owner, it does not usually bounce back easily and go on to become someone else’s perfect dog. The reality is much darker than that. The risk of behavioral fallout and eventual euthanasia is dramatically higher when people are careless, lazy, inconsistent, or flippant with this breed.
Cane Corsos and mixes can be difficult to place safely after a serious failure in training, management, or socialization. Because of their size, strength, guarding instincts, and deep attachment to their people, some are ultimately surrendered, labeled dangerous, or euthanized. That is the risk we are determined to prevent. It’s just the harsh reality. Many do not cope well with losing their families, and you just really need to know that with the love and loyalty comes a responsibility not unlike raising a child. But it’s really, truly, so worth it.
That is why we are so intense about this.
Your dog does not fail to become stable, confident, secure, loving, and well-behaved.
**You fail the dog** by being casual with your responsibilities.
That is the reality check.
You **must** be dedicated to training, structure, and socialization, especially through the first 18 months, and then continue with lifelong leadership and stimulation after that. It is not impossible. It is not even necessarily “hard.” But it **does** require consistency, effort, and a real commitment every single day.
That is why we **require 1 full year of obedience training and highly recommend going until you’ve achieved the Canine Good Citizen certification.** This is non-negotiable for every family who gets one of our purebred Cane Corso sausages. It is there to give you and your dog the strongest possible shot at success.
Because failure is not an option.
We breed because it’s a challenge and I enjoy cultivation and genetics. The breed mirrors my personality and I felt I could produce incredible offspring. I proudly produce purebred ICCF Cane Corso with World Champion Bloodlines. Because conservation breeding is very critical to preserve what we know and love. That doesn't mean all breeders need to be conservation breeders. I have since expanded into developing the Italian Daniff. Foundation lines are Cane Corso x Great Dane. Ill post more about this incredible hybrid another time. I enjoy genetics and having a hands-on part in working with a new developing breed’s foundation as it is an incredible responsibility and opportunity.
Many established breeds were developed through selective breeding and, in some cases, carefully planned outcrossing to establish desired traits. The Cane Corso itself almost went extinct. It was rebuilt through dedicated preservation and efforts after its numbers became dangerously low. To add new bloodlines and avoid bottlenecking the genetics some mastiff breeds have been cross bred and traits bred out over generations to cultivate new blood in this incredible breed. You will sometimes see fragments (low %) of these foundations on DNA test breakdowns.
Because we love these dogs, and we take the responsibility of bringing them into the world very seriously. We cannot — and will not — pretend this is all cute pictures and puppy breath if that means sending one of our lovingly raised sausages into a home that is not prepared to do the work.
The cost of ownership does not stop at buying the sausage. It does not stop at food, toys, or vet care. Having one of the coolest, most powerful, most incredible dogs in the world comes with real responsibility, real time investment, real training, and real follow-through.
We are not the type of breeder who will blow smoke in your face to get a sale. We are extremely blunt because the stakes are real. We **need** you to succeed. We **need** this dog to succeed. And we will do everything we can on our end to make that happen. Check out our reviews in the photo albums. Don’t take my word for it.
A lot of breeders can fail in setting up families for success. Many keep dogs in kennels or runs, do minimal socialization with parents and offspring, and then provide little real support after the dog goes home. No one likes to criticize other breeders — it’s tacky — but the reality is the reality.
Even when facilities are clean, I do not believe that raising dogs primarily in cages provides the quality of life they deserve. That is not the program I want to operate, and it is not what I want to support. Our dogs live with us because companionship, enrichment, and family life are part of the standard of care we believe they deserve.
It is breeders responsibility to truely care and raise parents with devotion to their quality of life. That matters to me.
Our dogs sleep in our beds. We have two California King beds. Im doing laundry and general cleaning all day! It is a **lot** of work. But what matters to me is that my dogs have a high level of care, companionship, and a real life with their people.
Cane Corsos are highly intelligent and can become deeply stressed when isolated from their people and kenneled excessively. In my experience, that affects them mentally, emotionally, and ultimately affects the offspring too. That creates a much harder situation for the family and just adds more challenges.
We do everything we can to give you the best possible starting point — and then we stay here for everything that comes next.
Short of being outside your windows giving instructions, we are here. 😅
This section is heavy because it needs to be. It is meant to encourage serious, committed owners — and discourage casual ones. If that reality check hits hard, good. It should. These dogs are worth doing right.
And when they are raised right? A well-trained Cane Corso is, quite literally, one of the best dogs you will ever own.
We also require that if for any reason you cannot keep your dog, **you notify us immediately**. We will work together to do what needs to be done. Nobody wants that outcome, but we are not going to turn our backs on a dog we produced.
