We work with a lot of fearful cats. Cats who've been abandoned, neglected, or just haven't had many positives in life. Even small things can matter so much. A sturdy box to hide in. A surface to scratch. A toy that smells like catnip. These aren't luxuries, they are comfort. Safety. A way for a stressed cat to start feeling well again and to bring along to their new furever homes to make the transition less scary.

That's why we're excited to share that we have joined "Give a Cat a Box" by Hide & Scratch, a donation program built specifically for rescues like us 😻 This program is different because it is priced for donations. The more you give, the lower the cost per box (shipping costs are spread across multiple units vs charged per item like on other big online retailers). That means your donation reaches more cats. And your dollars go even further the more you donate.

🐾 A $20 donation gets 1 box to a cat who needs a safe space to curl up and feel secure
🐾 A $40 donation sends 2 boxes + toys ($60 retail value)
🐾 A $150 donation sends us a full case of 15 boxes (just $10 per box!)

More boxes = more hiding spots, more scratching surfaces, more moments where a scaredy cat finds a safe corner and starts to relax.

Today we're celebrating another wonderful adoption and a brand new beginning filled with love, cozy naps, playful adventures, and endless purrs. Seeing these smiling faces and precious go-home photos reminds us why we do what we do.
Every adoption creates space for us to help another cat in need, and every family that chooses adoption changes a life forever.

These bottle babies are adorable, but they need more than likes. They need . Kitten season is in full swing, and we're urgently looking for bottle baby fosters as well as fosters for older kittens, nursing moms, and adults.

We provide all the supplies, training, and support. You provide a safe place for kitties to grow and thrive until ready for adoption.

So much gratitude for our amazing volunteers! 🐱💙 Thank you to Viktoria for completing her Eagle Scout project and donating 129 buddy blankets, fleece pom-poms, and four cardboard scratching circles for our shelter cats.

Special thanks also to Mary Kummerfeldt for crocheting cozy buddy blankets full of love and comfort.
