A butterfly said to the sun,"They can't stop talking about my transformation... I can only do it once in my lifetime.

If only they knew they can do it at any time and in countless ways."

Am Bully puppies are Not Required to “Go Into Hiding”

That’s right. It’s not written in the breed’s code of ethics & you won’t find it anywhere in the breed standard. Go look. Dogs “Go Into Hiding” because they’re fu***ng ugly. Period.

“In Hiding” means the dog looks ugly right now and the owner knows he couldn’t get a good picture or video of it to save his life so he say’s the dog is “In Hiding” as a lame but widely accepted excuse.

Big difference between a Lanky Stage and an Ugly Stage.

Bullies all go through lanky stages just like people do... When they’re in that middle stage from puppy to adult. They’ve gotten all the taller they’re going to get but we’re waiting on them to put on the muscle & mass... That’s a Lanky Stage. We’re simply waiting on the dog to fill out.

But... When the dog’s feet are looking 4 different directions & it’s ass is higher than its ears & it walks like an alligator on hot assault... That’s an Ugly Stage. That stage never ends. That’s why it’s really “In Hiding”. The owner is sitting around waiting to catch a good camera angle of the dog that hides its faults enough to post. Or they’re waiting on the dog to get more mass so most will not notice the faults first & say, “Wow! Look at the big ass head on that ugly ass dog”

Tbh this concept should be common sense to anyone who understands the amount of money being won & lost on American Bullies as well as sales tactics. I just get sick of ppl acting like we don’t know what they’re doing.

Tired of seeing so many “Going Into Hiding” posts that a newcomer would assume that’s a rule. It’s not a rule! It’s a damn excuse that’s only become widely accepted over time because of the blind leading the blind.

Now go ask that big name breeder for a video chat.
It’s 2020 mf.

Don't Forget To Let Them Win

Whether you're trying to build a puppy's play/prey drive or just get them to enjoy workouts & stay motivated it's important to let the pup win sometimes. What I mean by that is... while you're continuously challenging your pup to get the most out of him you must set him up for victories along the way. You do that so he can get accustomed to the feeling of accomplishment that can come if he works hard or long enough.

It's easy to turn a pup off to exercising & training when all he's doing is working with out knowing how the win will feel if he keeps going a little longer or tries a little harder.

I see it often when people have their dog out with the flirt pole running the dog in circles for a minute or two, keeping the toy just out of the dog's reach the whole time, then the dog loses interest & walks away or just lies down. Some owners will say their dog just doesn't have it in him or he's lazy. The only problem though is the dog lost interest because he saw nothing in the deal for him. He's become conditioned to think no matter how hard he tries the game always ends the same way every time. He gets worn out & never really gets to feel victory. You wouldn't keep going to work if the checks quit showing up. It's the same concept.

So when the dog puts in that extra effort that makes you proud slow it down a bit for them, set them up for a win, & let them know the hard work pays off. Soon you'll see their confidence build & you'll see they're enjoying working a lot more.

Met these cool young sailors in Manhattan.

They stopped me to check out Mac & turned out they knew a little about the American Bully already. Was cool to meet them, show them a really nice rep for the breed & answer some questions they had about American Bullies. Solid guys.
