Dear Cherished Clients of the Little Apple Veterinary Hospital,
It is with bittersweet feelings that I am announcing the sale of the Little Apple Veterinary Hospital to TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital, as of 1/7/2026. TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. Paige Andersen and her father, Dr. Kelly Lechtenberg. They are a wonderful father/daughter duo with values and heartstrings similar to mine. We all have small town farm backgrounds, have all graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and all have emphasized quality, compassionate care over the years. Both Little Apple Veterinary Hospital and TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which requires more than 900 standards to be met to ensure optimal veterinary care and client care. (Only 12 % of all veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada are able to make this claim.) I am confident in passing the “torch” to Dr. Andersen that you will have a warm and heartfelt reception and quality care from her team. Incidentally, many of my past team members have joined Dr. Andersen’s team and will continue to care for your pets. She has changed the name of the Little Apple Veterinary Hospital, under her ownership, to TimberCreek West Veterinary Hospital.
