Im still holding on intakes until November 30th but we had a special case this little guy was dumped in Missoula and brought to me by a very sweet lady. Definitely a little Bantam, Im guessing a Kikiriki? Hes available at the moment, let me know if you need a little guy! Hes super sweet. We got a little kitten out in Clarkston his name is Black Bean, I had to introduce the two. The kiddos wanted to make them little ghost 👻.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the fall festival! I definitely didn't get all the pictures of all the roosters today, but we did find homes for absolutely everyone that was there and available! We had a very amazing turnout and I couldn't be more greatful. I will be ordering disinfectants, meds and work on winterizing for the roosters. *I will be accepting roosters again November 30th.

Playing a little catch up! Here is a peek at my camera roll of just a few roosters that came in over the week, as well as two dinosaurs! Wait I mean guineas! I love them. We have been taking a few extra precautions at the moment before getting everybody placed into their new home. We had some more aggressive guys go to flocks of their own hoping they will be grand protectors. We had a few breeds with amazing genetics that were able to go to new breeding programs, as well as family's looking for the perfect rooster to add to their homes that were good around children. With the mix we received we have some very happy families. A couple fellas went to our special needs pad, they look like they will be fine with a little TLC. During the month or so that the drop off will be on hold, I will be working on winterizing the drop off and help with a couple of the pads. Also will be stocking up on a few extra meds and disinfectants for the drop off. A handful of what Im needing to pick up is Vetericyn Plus Poultry Care, Triple Antibiotic Ointment, Corid, Permethrin Dust or Spray, Elector PSP, Tek-Trol disinfectant, Virkon S, Safe Guard AquaSol, Poultry Nutri-Drench, Shilajit, vet wrap, Epson salt and more. This Saturday 🐓 October 3rd 2-5pm.
Sarah Miller is hosting the fall festival fundraiser! Leah will have her pony for kids rides as well as some animals form her petting zoo! We have some games and crafts. There will be food items to purchase as well as a 50/50 raffle that goes towards Montana Rooster Resource feed funds and more! Come on over! Im so excited to meet you, I'm ready to play some fun fall games! When's the last time you tried to eat an apple c***r donut off a string? We have people that will be doing portraits and other things as well.
Also, if you can't attend but are wanting to join in on the 50/50 on October 3rd from 2pm to 4:30pm I will be taking Venmo entries $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20 just send the amount and label the venmo "50/50(your name)" and I will write out each ticket with your name on it and add it to the pot and venmo you back if your the lucky winner! I will be posting the winner remember it only takes one ticket to win 😉. Drawing will be at 4:45pm!

*** update we caught her thanks to Katies help from Norris Ark Rescue 501c3 *** This Pekin is at Askin Park pond in Belgrade. I am currently trying to catch him, but if I can't , and somebody else happens to do so, please let me know. I'm happy to help get him into a safe home. A guy said he was dumped here about a week and a half ago. He'll come close , but I'm having a hard time trying to grab him.
