🐍 Day 8 Breeding Project

Day 8 of pairing Lemon Drop and Vandahl, and these two are still vibing exactly how we want — calm, steady, and totally comfortable sharing space. No stress signals, no pacing, just two boas settling into their rhythm while we keep temps, humidity, and behavior dialed in.
Every day in this window matters, and so far they’re giving us nothing but good signs. Onward to Day 9.

Cassie, Pickles, and the whole budgie squad are on full store‑monitoring duty today—making sure Lemon Drop and Vandahl have the calm, quiet vibes they need while the humans tackle the cleaning chaos.

Cassie, of course, has taken her supervisory role very seriously… which means she’s been following me around, judging my technique, and making sure everything is done to her standards. If you hear random chirping, that’s just her reminding me who’s actually in charge.

🦜✨ Store security: feathered.
Human productivity: supervised.
Snake romance: undisturbed.

Our boa pairing is off to an amazing start! Lemon Drop and Vandahl are settling in beautifully, showing all the right signs of comfort and curiosity. We’re excited to share this journey with you as we work toward future baby boas here at Eighth Element Exotics. Stay tuned for updates — this is going to be fun!

💛 Day 2: Lemon Drop & Vandahl Snuggle Update 💛

Day 2 and these two are officially in full snuggle mode. Lemon Drop and Vandahl are curled up together like they’ve been a bonded pair forever — calm coils, shared space, and zero tension. This is exactly the kind of comfortable, secure behavior we want to see during early cohab.

Everything about this pairing is moving in the right direction, and these two are making it look effortless.

Lemon Drop is out here doing full perimeter checks while Vandahl has declared the cork his personal panic room. Classic first‑day cohab energy — one explorer, one introvert, both absolutely adorable in their own weird little ways. Watching them settle into their roles is half the fun of kicking off our first snake breeding project.
