Happy Friday! 😁 🐕

10/08/2026

At Aggietails, we believe the best training happens in the real world—right where the distractions, excitement, squirrels, smells, and sidewalk adventures happen! 🐕
That’s why we train while we walk.
Our walks combine

✨ Exercise
✨ Mental stimulation
✨ Real-world training
✨ Leash skills
✨ Focus
✨ Impulse control
✨ Socialization
✨ Positive reinforcement

So your pup gets their energy out while learning skills they can use every day.

Because we’re not just your average dog walker!

🌧️ Bad weather? Training doesn’t stop—it gets creative! 🐾

Rainy days or extreme temperatures 🥶 🥵 are a great opportunity to use indoor spaces. Rather than going on a long, engaging walk, we use that time to focus on basic skills at home, navigating new environments, or practicing public skills when your dog is ready for that level of training.

🏠 At home: impulse control, place, stays, calm reactions to guests, crate training, useful tricks, and body awareness.

🅿️ In parking garages: confidence, leash skills, stairs, elevators, unfamiliar noises, and navigating new environments.

🛒 At dog-friendly businesses: handler focus, heeling, leave-it, automatic sits, calm behavior, and learning to ignore distractions.

The goal isn’t to have a dog who only behaves at home; It’s to build a dog who has the skills and confidence to navigate the world. 🐾💙

Message us if you would like our list of dog friendly establishments where we like to train.

Swimming is more than just a fun way to cool off! 🐾💦 It’s a great opportunity to build confidence, body awareness, and strength while providing low-impact exercise and enrichment. 🐶🧠

When it’s too hot for a long walk, we love beating the heat with a swim! ☀️🌊 Check out some of the fun our pups had in the water this summer! 📸💦

Do you recognize all the locations we hit this summer?

As K-State students head back to campus and hit the books this week, why not get your pup enrolled in some lessons too? 🎓🐶

One of our favorite ways to work on a dog's training is by taking them on walks around K-State campus! 💜 Campus is the perfect environment to practice socialization, impulse control, and leash skills around real-world distractions.

We can work on staying calm and focused around:
🐿️ Squirrels
👋 People and students
🐕 Other dogs
🛴 Scooters, bikes, skateboards🛹
🚗 Traffic
🚧 Construction
🎵 Band performances

Socialization isn't always about meeting everyone—it can also mean learning to observe the world calmly and confidently without needing to react to every distraction. 🐾
