Today we said goodbye to our dear Billy Ray. ❤️

Billy Ray arrived in rescue alongside several feline siblings. He was incredibly shy and often overlooked by potential adopters, quietly waiting for someone to see the sweet soul behind his timid nature.

That person turned out to be his foster parent.

Over time, Billy Ray learned to trust, and the bond they formed was something truly special. He was deeply loved, cherished, and given the safety and comfort every animal deserves.

Over the past few weeks, Billy Ray had not been feeling well and was seen by our veterinary team. Unfortunately, his condition worsened, and today we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye.

Our hearts ache for his foster family, who loved him dearly. While his time with them was far too short, he spent it knowing love, security, and what it felt like to truly belong.

Tonight, we take comfort in knowing that Billy Ray is no longer suffering and that he left this world surrounded by love. We know he is not alone and is being welcomed with open paws by those who went before him.

You will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever a part of the Monkey’s Pack family.

Buggy was recently diagnosed with neurological FIP, and we are doing everything we can to fight for him. His medication alone is $849 per month, and with emergency visits, diagnostics, and ongoing medical care, his expenses have already exceeded $3,000.

This group of Fantastic Four kittens are ready for their forever homes! Johnny, Sue, Reed, and Ben are a very sweet and mellow (as far as kittens go!) litter. All 4 love to cuddle with each other as well as humans. They were a little scared of the large dogs in their foster home at first, but now that they have adjusted they do very well around the dogs. They would love to be adopted in pairs so that they always have a best friend and cuddle buddy.

Edna (named for Edna Mode) is a pint sized power house who does seem to resemble her namesake! She is small for her age, but that does not stop her from doing whatever she wants whenever she wants! She is just starting to learn to play with other kittens, but her besties in her foster home are a teenage girl, and a large dog. Edna knows that she loves frequent meals, large dogs, warm beds, and attention. This tiny girl has a big personality and she is ready for a forever home that will appreciate it!

Our sweet Mama Hannah… once abandoned on the streets and fighting to survive, safely gave birth to 5 healthy kittens tonight. 🥹💕

Mama is doing wonderfully and currently enjoying tuna and wet food while she regains nourishment to care for her babies. We are so proud of her strength and resilience.

And in the sweetest twist — Dad is also safe off the streets and already living in an adoptive home. 🥰 One little tuxedo kitten solved the mystery of who the father was immediately. 😆
