Greta is a little over a year old and weighs around 55 pounds of pure personality! She’s a total go-getter when it comes to food, attention, and playtime!

Greta is dog-friendly and kid-friendly, and she would make an amazing travel buddy! She’s a true foodie, so you can bet she’ll be right there for every road-trip snack, restaurant stop, and taste-testing opportunity. If there’s an adventure or food involved, Greta is READY TO GO! 🌮🍔😂

But when the day is done, Greta has another specialty… she can be your very own personal weighted AND heated blanket! 🥰 She’s a fantastic cuddler and loves being close to her people.

✨️From Surviving to Thriving✨️

Sadly before Mikey arrived, he was attacked by a dog in his previous home, then locked in a closet for days without food. Until a friend of the owner stepped in, asked to take him, and got him to veterinary care.

After arriving and knowing the shelter wasn't a place for him to heal, one of our Officers took him home to foster and quickly learned he doesn't have a mean bone in his body.

He's wonderful with dogs big and small, kids, and new people, he walks beautifully on a leash, rarely barks, waits patiently for treats, and even waits for you to put his food down in front of him and tell him "time to eat" His foster mom says:

"Id love to keep him because he behaves extremely well, but I know I can't keep all my foster pups. Mikey loves cuddling with me while I crochet or hanging out on the porch. His eyes? Just beautiful and filled with love. I can't wait for him to meet his forever family. And I will probably cry because after everything Mikey has been through, he's learned what real love is."

He survived. He healed. Now it's his time to be someone's forever.

Monday’s Main Character: ✨️Xenna✨️

Roughly around 1-2 years old, 50 lbs, she’s spayed, up to date on shots, AND house-trained! She’s great with kids, other animals and even attended doggy daycare!!

Xenna came to us through no fault of her own. Her previous owners loved her dearly and did everything they could to keep her, including doggy daycare, but eventually realized her young, playful energy was more than they could keep up with at their age... For them this was an incredibly difficult decision for them and they were in tears when they brought her to us. 💔

Xenna would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit and the love she gives.

She's not looking for a replacement family—she's looking for her next chapter. Could that be with you? 📖
