Good evening all,

This Saturday we will not be setting up to vend at any events. With the way the heat has been, we prefer not to put the birds through the stress of the travel & action.

We will be around the farm and can arrange local meet-ups on Saturday 6/13 until 2pm.

Chickens:

Bantam Pairs (1 Rooster & 1 Pullet) *No Pullets without Roosters*
Straight Run Chicks - Cochin, Silkie/Satin
Bantam Cockerels - Old English, Gold Sebright, Easter Egger, Mixed Breeds

Nothing like a late night trip to the emergency vet for Olive after she somehow cut her foot and was gushing blood that we couldn't get it to stop 😵‍💫😅 2-3 stitches, antibiotics, pain meds, vet bill, and a cone of shame later - Thankfully she's feeling better today, but supervised low impact activity for two weeks while she heals up. I think we need to heal some mentally too from the bloody mess & shot nerves 😅

Good morning all,

I had every intention of trying to get out and set up at the Manchester Farm Center this morning, but I'm still managing the farm solo and working on getting the pond filled back up.

That being said, I'm on the farm today all day and available for local meet ups for chickens and/or plants!

Never a dull moment, I swear! Taking care of things on the farm & went to feed the koi this morning while I left my parents dogs out, to find the pond had drained significantly overnight. 🤦 Fed the fish last night and everything was fine. Here something clogged the pipe going from the goldfish pond to the main big pond, making the small one overflow. 😵‍💫

So now today's added project is babysitting the pond to get it slowly filled back up 😅
