Last week, DS Performance Massage Therapy had the honor of helping judge the mounted police obstacle course during National Police Week at Manassas National Battlefield Park 🐴💙

It was amazing watching law enforcement horses and riders from across the country tackle the obstacles with so much skill, trust, and teamwork. Police horses truly are incredible partners and athletes.

So grateful to have been part of such a fun and special event!

✨ There’s no “one-size-fits-all” in bodywork—but there are strong foundations.

I’m trained and certified in a well-established method with deep roots in both the U.S. and Europe—giving me a structured, proven approach to work from.

But here’s the key:
No two horses are the same.

Every horse brings a different history, workload, and way of moving… and even on different days, the same horse can feel completely different.

That’s why my work isn’t about blindly following a routine, it’s about applying a solid foundation while adapting to the horse in front of me 🐴💆‍♀️

Because real bodywork isn’t robotic—it’s responsive.

At the end of the day, it’s not about whose method is “right”…
It’s about helping each horse feel better, move better, and perform at their best ❤️
