As the week is nearing the end please join me thanking our wonderful Technicians Bri, Kate and Ella for all their hard work. We could not do what we do without them. I need to add an honorable mention to Cris and Chris who assist our Technicians - Tech Week we celebrate them - our vendors brought lunch, treats and goodie bags. I wish everyday was tech appreciation!! Cristy 🐾🐾🐕‍🦺🐩🦮🐕🐈🐈‍⬛

There's a certain kind of satisfaction that comes with watching calves out on summer pasture for the first time. 🐄☀️

All the early mornings, the calving checks, the weaning stress, the feed adjustments... it all leads to this. Animals that are healthy, curious, and thriving.

June has a way of paying you back for everything you put in during the harder months. 🙌

Don't let your furry friend get burned! Keep paws safe from scorching pavement this summer.

June tip for backyard flock keepers 🐔

Longer days mean more light, and more light means hens that are working harder. Hens laying consistently in summer heat have higher calcium and protein demands than most people realize.

Three things to check this month:
✅ Are your layers on a dedicated layer feed rather than scratch or mixed grain?
✅ Is oyster shell available free-choice so hens can self-regulate calcium?
✅ Are you checking water daily? Hens in heat can drink twice their normal intake.

A small adjustment now can make a big difference in egg quality and shell thickness heading into the hottest weeks of summer. 🥚
