We had so much fun working on Maggie’s groom today. Standard Poodles are such a rewarding breed to groom—their coats require regular maintenance to stay healthy, comfortable, and mat-free, and every appointment gives us the opportunity to highlight their natural elegance and personality.

Maggie was an absolute dream on the table from start to finish, and we loved bringing this look together for her. 💕

Lulu’s First Puppy Spa Day 🐾💙

Nobody told Lulu that her first grooming appointment involved getting wet. 😅

This adorable Pomsky puppy visited us for her very first grooming experience, and while she wasn’t completely convinced about bath time, she did an amazing job! First puppy appointments are all about building confidence and creating positive experiences with bathing, drying, brushing, nail care, handling, and all the sights and sounds of the salon.

Early grooming introductions help puppies learn that grooming isn’t scary, setting them up for a lifetime of successful appointments.

We are absolutely obsessed with those bright blue eyes and giant puppy ears. 💙

Great job Lulu—we can’t wait to see you again!

Just look at that face 😍 From the soft teddy styling to those perfectly rounded features, this boy cleaned up SO nicely!

Routine grooming is especially important for doodle coats to help prevent matting, keep the skin healthy, reduce tangles, and keep them feeling their best between appointments. Keeping up with regular maintenance makes a huge difference in coat condition and comfort! 💙

✨ Puppy desensitization days are some of our favorites ❤️🐾

This sweet girl, Juno the Saint Bernard puppy, spent time learning that grooming isn’t something to fear… it can be positive, gentle, and even FUN. 🥹

Early puppy visits help introduce handling, brushing, sounds, dryers, touch around the face and feet, and the overall salon environment in a safe and encouraging way. These experiences matter so much — especially for giant breeds who will eventually grow into very big dogs.

A puppy who learns grooming is positive today often grows into an adult dog who feels more confident, less stressed, and safer during future appointments. 🫶🏻

At Life With Paws, we believe grooming is about so much more than haircuts. It’s trust, education, patience, relationship building, and helping pets feel comfortable every step of the way. ❤️
