As some of yāall know as Iāve post before that I had a family come to our farm twice & take a bottle calf home. They raved online how he was even more perfect than they expected! However, I can not be responsible for livestock after it leaves our care! Especially weeks later! For example, this family put their baby calf UNDER their back deck š³ in a tiny dog pen zip tied together up against their above ground pool where their gutter also drained, only gave it a tiny used rabbit hanging water bowl & even give it pine straw which can be toxic for baby calves! She even admitted to give it electrolyte bottles right after a milk bottle which is never recommended either! Anybody that knows livestock knows the littlest things done wrong can hurt their tummies & give them scours! I could go on & on. Anyways, a couple of weeks (which was a few days after the toxic pine straw was gave) they woke up to it extremely sick & took it to the vet. It later passed. The cropped vet report I was sent without any vet info even said a āpossibleā diagnosis. (Highly doubt their vet knew it was UNDER a back deck with toxic pine straw, etc!) I cried along with them, prayed for them, etc. She said on the phone & in writing both how the calf was perfectly fine the night before following her around laps in the backyard even! One minute she claims it was a tragedy & then after I refused to let her have another one, Iām the most evil person. Her & her husband have continued to harass me, smear, slander, etc. She also said in writing she will do everything she can to ruin my business. And Iām STILL receiving messages like this! NOBODY deserves messages like thisā¼ļø Iāve asked her to not text me about the devil, for her husband not to cuss me, etc! I didnāt do this to her calf. And Iāve had vet checks, lots of guest and even other happy clients since! NO EXCUSE for thisā¼ļø
