Everyone! Happy International Dog Day!
A bit sad for us. Mars, the Min Pin, just flew back home to Orlando on Monday. Most of you will recognize him. We are so blessed to have him come all the way up to Tennessee when needed. 3 times so far since we moved. How many dogs have Summer & Christmas vacation homes? lol. Mars does! So, until next time, Mars! 💗💗💗

So hard to believe a year ago, I was busy packing while trying to enjoy every last moment of time with my dog guests! Realizing those 8 years had been the best years of my adult life! 💞
Today is the 9th anniversary of my very first, official dog guests! Shih Tzu brothers, Brutus & Pooka. I definitely would have chosen to stay in Maitland for at least another 5 or so years, but our landlord’s debilitating stroke made the choice for us. Dropping-In to people’s homes is different but I’ve heard so many of the same comments. So many saying they finally feel like they can go on vacation! Etc. I love it, of course! But now I have preemptive guilt for when I stop dropping in too. Oh well.
Things I was NOT prepared to hear? “Are you ok with stairs?” My response, “As long as it’s not a timed event!”
