Pittie Posse Rescue And Sanctuary Foster based throughout Maine - We rescue pit bulls, rehab, train, and find them forever homes. Adopt a pit bull today!

Here at Pittie Posse Rescue & Sanctuary, we have 3 missions:

1. Rescuing pit bulls from unfit living situations in Maine and overcrowded shelters in high-kill cities across the country (pulling from locations that are overwhelmed, such as, but not limited to Gerogia.)

2. Rehabilitation and training of rescued dogs in our care so we’re adopting out dogs that have already completed basic obedience. Lack of manners and difficulty training is one of the top reasons adopted dogs get returned.

3. To make the world a better place for animals: educate the public on the plight of the breed and model responsible dog ownership. We have a love for the misunderstood bully breeds and a passion to give them the love they deserve.

‼️ DONATIONS NEEDED - PLEASE HELP ‼️

We have bad news.

Wyatt has a severe tooth abscess that needs to be operated on ASAP. He'll likely need several teeth removed as well 😔

His appointment is scheduled for Thursday.

And to make things worse?
This bill will completely wipe out our bank account.

We have 20 dogs in our care.
Dogs scheduled to arrive this weekend and next.

If we can't get enough donations to support these upcoming bills, we will have to cancel transport and shut down intake.

This is the reality of running a small dog rescue.
We rely on the donations of our community to keep going.
To save lives.

For now? Wyatt is on antibiotics and pain meds, being spoiled by his foster mama.
And the vet staff could not believe how amazing his temperament is, despite being in such pain.

Please consider donating whatever you can. $5, $20, $50, $100... every single dollar help support dogs in our care.

Dogs like Wyatt who were once abandoned, out of options, and are now so close to living the good life 🙏❤️‍🩹

We're seriously so obsessed with this duo 🥹
And we can't believe they haven't received a single application!

Yes, they're big dogs.
Sure, there's two of them!

But we promise Hansel & Gretel will bring nothing but joy to your home ❤

They're 5 & 6 years old.
They love to cuddle.
They're well mannered and non-destructive.

And while they are dog friendly, we're looking for a home with no other dogs so the attention can be 100% on them! They deserve it.

Don't wait. Apply to adopt today!

We have some GOOD news!! 🥹❤️

We’re teaming up with Pittie Clothing Company for a special BOGO event happening now through Sunday!

Here’s how it works...

For every doggy pajama, tutu, or muscle tee you purchase, they're donating one to Pittie Posse!

They’ll help our adoptable dogs stand out in photos (because who can resist a pittie in PJs?!) and protect our pups with skin issues.

You shop. You spoil your own pup. We get to spoil ours, too!

Use code ✨ PP26 ✨ at checkout to make sure your purchase sends a matching donation our way.

We’re so grateful to Pittie Clothing Company for thinking of our dogs and to everyone who helps make partnerships like this possible.

Every little bit makes a difference!

Prince is a 4 year old boy we saved from the euthanasia list in May.

And now?
He's finally ready to start his new chapter with Pittie Posse!

Prince is about 60 pounds, dog friendly, and had the sweetest demeanor when we met him in Georgia. He sat there patiently, with the best head tilt, waiting for us to say hi 😭

‼️ DONATIONS NEEDED ‼️

Wyatt needs your help.

He came to Maine last weekend.
After being found as a stray and living in outdoor boarding for months.

But he quickly won his foster over.
He has the sweetest personality.
And he's now in a foster to adopt trial!! 🤞❤

But we just discovered Wyatt may have a tooth abscess.
And he needs to be seen ASAP.

We're not sure how much this is going to cost.
But what we do know is...
We don't have enough in our account to cover an emergency visit.

We are running extremely low on funds.
Please consider donating so we can get Wyatt the care he needs 🙏

The cost to save each of their lives.

And now, we are out of funds.
That means we can't save more dogs 💔

We hate to beg, but that's where we are at.
Could you please consider sponsoring a part of their care? 🙏

$35 covers their microchip
$45 for one preventative
$75 gets them their health certificate
$150 transports them to Maine
$280 covers their boarding before they arrive

We have three dogs incoming next weekend. That means three more bills due.

Please donate if you can -- YOU can help make a difference for a dog in need.
