"When we first brought Cardi home, the plan was to foster her and see how she would blend into our family and home.
Immediately it became obvious she already belonged here.
From the very first picture I saw of her, I was instantly drawn to her. Then we learned more about her story and found out she was a mama dog who had been used for breeding, just like our dog Maple had been before we adopted her.
At that point, it honestly felt like fate. I think deep down I already knew she was meant to be ours.
She fit into our family so naturally, like she had already decided this was home before we even did.
Maple took her under her wing right away, the kids fell in love instantly, and little by little Cardi started relaxing and showing us her personality.
Watching her settle in has been really special. You can see the difference between a dog who’s unsure and a dog who finally feels safe. She’s playful, affectionate, goofy, and so eager to be loved.
Now she spends her days snuggled up with the kids, following Maple around, and acting like she’s lived here forever.
We’re so grateful to have found her, and even more grateful that she’ll never have to wonder where home is again ❤️"
