Dear Creature Comforts Family,
I am writing to you today with profound sadness and a heavy heart. Due to serious health issues, I am forced to close Creature Comforts Animal Hospital after 16 wonderful years of serving the Mahomet community.
More than anything, it deeply grieves me to have to step away and deliver this news so suddenly. Over the years, you haven’t just been clients to me, you have truly become family. Being entrusted with the care of your beloved fur babies and sharing in so many of your lives' sweetest, most tender, and special moments has been the greatest honor and joy of my veterinary career. The bond we have built together makes saying goodbye this quickly even more difficult.

Important Schedule & Record Request Details

• Appointments & Boarding: We are no longer seeing any appointments (illness or wellness). Boarding services will conclude August 16, 2026, at the evening pick-up time.

• Medical Records Processing: Because our veterinary business software does not have the capability to mass-email individual medical files, each record must be handled and emailed individually.

• How to Request Records: Records will be provided directly to owners. To receive an electronic copy of your pet's records sent to your email address, please write to our dedicated records inbox:

When emailing your request, please include your Full Name and your Pet’s Name(s) so we can locate and email your file directly to you.
