Taylor Veterinary Imaging built its business on remote radiology, giving practices and specialty hospitals board-certified CT and imaging interpretation without needing an in-house radiologist.

In China, the challenge is more than capacity—it’s capability. Hospitals need clinicians who can recognize findings, ask the right follow-ups, and know when cases require further workup—not just external reads.

That’s why Dr. Mark Taylor, DACVR traveled to Shanghai for a 2-day “Advanced CT Imaging Interpretation” course, delivered in partnership with Kuanteng·DBC Healthcare and WENAVC. The hands-on program covered anatomy review, oncology diagnosis, CT angiography, and live case interpretation, with market-ready translated materials for the room.

This approach is a different kind of investment than a teleradiology contract—more time, deeper credibility—and it aligns with where the Chinese veterinary market is today: great equipment, strong demand for training, and growing willingness to pay for both.
